I have a SIL who works for a newspaper. My BIL has been a GM executive for 25 years. These people are dripping with money, yet my kids have gotten recycled and thoughtless obligation gifts from them.
They are just self-centered to the max.
You’ve got to love a country where the newspaper can use “solipsistic” and someone might actually know what it means.

Interesting point above about England not being their motherland....hadn’t thought of it before. Africa may be the cradle of civilization but they never progressed very far out of the infant mentality. Sad, actually. I was on a safari in Tanzania and there are many who live as their ancestors lived hundreds of years before.
