Blockbuster would be a good stock to purchase right now.

22cents a share.

Going bankrupt, just like America.

Long term strategy?....LOL!

Invest your 2 daughter's college fund money in CITIgroup. Go ahead..put your money where your mouth is, Dimbulb.

I challenge you to buy CITI for a long term investment.

Alas, if ONLY Obama’s political tracking polls had been like the stock market. Then we wouldn’t be stuck with this moron for president.

How did we ever make it from day to day before we had The Obamassia to take us by the hand?

So which non conservative is the pubbie party going to foist upon us next, Charlie (the Rino)Crist of some other non-conservative?
It doesn't matter to me. They can pick a RINO schmuck if they want. I'll vote 3rd party.

McStupid is my last RINO-schmuck-vote. Ever.

Obama did manage something.

He managed a government grant project into bankruptcy.

Boy samtheman don’t ya know it.
I too held my nose and voted for McLame only because I too knew obamma lamma was far worse.
Turds like Mel Martinez, McLame, Specter Snowe and so many other RINO’s and still the party ignores it instead of taking concrete actions against these fools.
To hell with the dem lite pubbies, time for a new REAL conservative party.

You are right, Joe. You are so right.

Either the Republican party rediscovers its conservative roots, or it’s time for a new party.

"Nope,
More of the same from the Republican party. Bob (lame ass) Dole, George Bush (compassionate conservative) my ass, and Juan McLame. So which non conservative is the pubbie party going to foist upon us next, Charlie (the Rino)Crist of some other non-conservative?
"

I was just talking about that in another thread. Politics are all about "gender" (sex), celebrity, race and fear, according to the words of the geniuses in charge of politics, and we peasants are too stupid and outer-bred to know it. ;-)

Look behind the politicians and follow the money. Some people have more recently accomplished over the course of about three decades, what Morgan and his associates only tried to do in 1933.

Does anyone else hear more than an echo of Chauncey Gardner in this?

When I was still employed a couple years ago, I chatted one day with a co-worker who was telling me about her son who was about 21 at the time. Her son was the goto guy when it came to the parents' investment strategies. He too had immersed himself in the stock market as a hobby when he was about 13 or 14 years years old........

I've always said personal finance and the market should be mandatory classes beginning in junior high school.

It appears that Zer0 has figured out that he's no longer campaigning and the “blame Bush by talking down the economy” shtick is getting worn out.

Your story of your nephew reminds me of the book entitled “Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell. His basic premise is that there is a certain amount of time required for an individual to excel at any skill. This book was an ok read. I esp enjoyed his first book “The Tipping Point”.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are all multi-millionaires who want theirs but don’t care if you become a pauper. Loathsome. 2010 will be interesting.

Here’s the difference, I’ve seen the market have ‘hissy fits’ before Obama, but since Obama has taken office, it’s gone into a consistant nose dive. The free market does not trust Obama. With reason, he is not doing anything for it.
