Continuing the newfound theme of liberals proclaiming Rush Limbaugh the leader of the GOP (more on that here), activist group Americans United for Change has announced it will begin airing a TV ad dedicated, almost solely, to making that claim, calling on Republicans to reject Limbaugh's politics.

Not only is Rush the leader of the Republican Party, according to the ad, Sarah Palin, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, RNC Chairman Michael Steele, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell are specifically NOT the party's leaders, at least as indicated by the raucous applause Limbaugh received at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in DC over the weekend. (Limbaugh, it should be noted, is no stranger to Americans United for Change ads--the group has used his "fail" comment since early February to blast Republicans for opposing President Obama's stimulus.) The ad will air in DC and on national cable as early as Thursday through the end of next week, the group says.
Thanks for getting the word out, Sheesh! such singlemindedness. However, you are wrong.
It will be the single biggest mistake they ever make...(liberals, that is...)
the liberals, the media, Fox News and Ron Paul have all picked up the meme from the White House and ran with it. This was nothing more than a Rahm Emmanuel talking point and see where its going?
its all beeen planned.
I was asked if I was a “Rush freak” by one of my co-workers about a month ago. The dems are emboldened and have finally started attacking Rush publicly. The dems are viscious.
its a coordinated attack. there is a point to this.
they are going to bring down another shoe once this becomes generally accepted. count on it.
I refuse to be drawn into a discussion of who the leader of the GOP is by Democrat clowns.
This reminds me of the propaganda bullhorns and PA systems used by communists, only taken to a whole other level. Someone should lampoon their “re-education” tactic.
Does anyone have the number to these folks? Is there any group that will step up to counter these? There’s nothing wrong with what Rush said in his CPAC speech. It was a home run! I’ll take him as the leader of the GOP anyday.
The Dems are just jealous.

It was Obama who first said that Republican members of Congress shouldn’t listen to Rush Limbaugh. They weren’t in the first place. Rush is not an issue, no matter how much the Democrats want to make him one.
Juan Williams admitted to Bill O’Reilly that he was becoming more conservative, and that the real viciousness is on the Left. He has never seen the same viciousness on the Right. The light is going on for Juan.
Sheesh, these guys are dumb. Before the year is out, Rush will have an audience of 100million and the dims will be crying "uncle". Or, they will have shut Rush down and will be hunting the rest of us in the hills.
They picked our candidate, they picked our president, now they want to pick who our leader is.
In this case though, I think they’re right and I’m thankful for Rush.
They will live to regret doing this. The more publicity Rush gets, the more minds he will change.
Good, I hope they keep it up. They will be putting one more nail in their own coffin.
Who is Americans United for Change? Who is paying the bills?
It’s a distraction to try and get people off the main issue the TANKING ECONOMY.
Juan, though liberal, is a fair and good man.
I am pleased to hear that.
GO RUSH.
