The Australian ^ | 03/02/2009

Posted on 03/01/2009 8:17:38 PM PST by beagleone

BARACK Obama yesterday declared his vast schedule of higher taxes and massive spending was a fundamental reordering of federal priorities that would deliver "the sweeping change that this country demanded when it went to the polls in November", underscoring a budget plan that marks the biggest ideological shift in Washington since the Reagan administration.

The radicalism we've seen so far, I'm afraid, is just the tip of the iceberg. Heaven help us.

Now we’re talking. If a fight is what he wants, let’s give him a damn good one.

Excerpt from the article:

"Reagan once said: "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help'." Mr Obama has made just such a promise to restore the US's fortunes."

Sweeping victory? He won 54% to 46%, and then only by totally lying about his real intent (i.e. “I am not a socialist.”)

“a fundamental reordering of federal priorities” ...deliver “the sweeping change”

Socialism would qualify in both those categories

The only action that will stop the radical agenda of the U.S.A’s current President is a revival, the kind that rocks our souls and changes the world in a whole new way.

Our money and our “leaders” aren’t going to be able to help us.

Forty six percent of this country didn’t demand any such thing, and a sizable portion of the other fifty four percent didn’t know what they wanted except something different.

Looks like the Stock Market was 100% correct in its assessment: Cash out all assets and take your equity out of the market.

The minute the polls indicated a victory for the Obamination, the world economy collapsed.

As well it should.

Saul Alinsky on "Change"...
From Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines his strategy in organizing, writing:

"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevsky said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution."

"The Communist Party USA views the 2008 elections as a tremendous opportunity to defeat the policies of the right-wing Republicans and to move our country in a new progressive direction.

The record turnout in the Democratic Presidential primary races shows that millions of voters, including millions of new voters, are using this election to bring about real change. We wholeheartedly agree with them."

A Landslide Mandate For Change

Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.

The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.

There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.

The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

Am all for giving em a run for their money . . .

However,

wisdom might dictate some awareness that

the Oligarchy behind the traitor N chief

has essentially all the cards

except for the Godly ones . . . the most powerful of which

ARE

THE PRAYERS OF RIGHTEOUS BELIEVERS.

Be wise, not foolish.

That does NOT = being wimpy.

That is certainly no mandate and does not take into account the estimated 9.2 million fraudulent votes. I'm sure those were not cast for Palin and that other guy.

Obama is a radical Marxist. His mentors Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers should have been a clue. What a shame that our electorate is so terribly stupid to have elected Obama.

You're right. With the possible exception of Nancy Pelosi, he is the biggest socialist in DC that I know of.
