I tried to tune to Glenn Beck show on the NYC radio WOR 710 but instead of Glenn's fiery voice I hear pacifying voice and music of Cousin Brucie.
WOR Web radio had some infomercial and John Gambling (reruns?) Will Glenn be off FOX News Channel?
Hmmmm!
Check of the web WOR site gives no clues, just link to another station WYXC 1270 in Cartersville, GA. There he was, sounded a bit muted.
What is going on??? NaziRATs started the march on our freedoms?

Looks like instead of tea parties march on DC would be more appropriate.
I think Cousin Brucie is broadcasting a charity event.

He just mentioned last night that his show had become #1 in his timeslot in NY.

Why is their web site audio not having Brucie or Glenn?
That’s what was weird and in view of “muffler” efforts alarming.
Soo, looks like they are cutting him down to two hours.
We only get 2 hours of Glenn Beck here in Pittsburgh. But we get all the talk radio guys on one station.
Sadly, last year WPGB got the contract for the Pittsburgh Pirates radio play and the afternoon games always cut into Rush. Could anything be less entertaining than listening to a Pirates game?

Now (11 - 12) they stream Joan Hamburg on internet, Cousin Brucie is still on WOR 710.

If they’re really dumping him, it couldn’t have anything to do with ratings as he is killing the competition. But I’ll bet he’s generating hate mail by the bushel.
I travelled in the USSR in the late 70s and each radio station sold in the s tores had puch buttons with three pre-selected radio stations on them. You could listen to Pravda news on channel one, and two separate classical music stations that were indistinguishable from each other. There was no dial to select any other station or to receive Radio Free Europe.
Tell me, why are my memories of this experience coming to the fore at this time in our history?
I think I know why and it frightens me a great deal.

Biden is worse because he ddoes not the mannerisms of “His Excellency Benito Mussolini, Head of Government, Duce of Fascism, and Founder of the Empire”. The look on Obama’s face the other day on Drudge looked just like that gutter snipe when he addresses the throngs of thralls in Italy before WWII. I could not help thinking we are looking at another cut from the same cloth.
