As soon as I heard the report on Good Morning America today describing a possible suspect in the murder of Chandra Levy as an “immigrant,” my antenna went up. So, was he a high-tech worker, here on a H-1B visa? Or perhaps a permanent resident, proud holder of a green card? Somehow I didn’t think so.
It took all of 15 seconds to Google out this Washington Post article stating that the possible suspect, Ingmar A. Guandique, is an illegal immigrant. But GMA didn’t bother to mention that inconvenient fact.
ABC’s Pierre Thomas narrated the segment, which began with Chandra’s parents standing outside their Modesto, California home, saying they’d be informed that an arrest could be imminent. They indicated they thought they knew who the suspect is but didn’t want to name him at that time.

Good question. I just went back and checked. GMA described him only as “Congressman Gary Condit.”
MSM barely reported the Muslim TV exec who allegedly whacked his wife’s head off, why should they bother with mentioning the fact this suspect is an illegal?

According to the informant, Guandique said he murdered a woman named Chandra Levy in the park – and that Condit paid him $25,000 to kill her.
The unidentified man said Guandique first got drunk and high on drugs, and then he found Levy jogging on a path in the place Condit told him to go. According to the story, the illegal alien hid, jumped out and stabbed her in her neck and abdomen. Levy stumbled to the ground, and Guandique buried her body in the woods, leaving the knife inside her body. The $25,000 was then sent to the man’s relatives in El Salvador...”

Egad. I hope that this bird sings and this assertion is proveable. Please let it be. Chandra deserves justice.

The search was a scam...It was called off when they were very close to the body...because someone had called in with some big clue...which turned out to be false info.
