While I despise Olbermann, isn’t that rating still a LOT higher than MSNBC got even 4 years ago?

Before, a show on MSNBC would draw 500-700,000. Except for King, is he still alive, would draw right at a million viewers.

Any respect I had left for MSNBC went down the toilet after their behavior during the election.

Their only saving grace is Joe Scarbourough who is not afraid to tell it like it is.

Keith Obermann is a joke. What a tool.

I have to check and see if it’s still in my cable line-up.

I guess Rush Limbaugh won’t do as a surrogate. I hope they go under. It would serve the one trick ponies right.

By all means, send KO back to sports, just not pro football. How about sending him to cover grade school 4-square tournaments (if the kids are still allowed to play it, that is!) and tetherball?

I don't watch any cable news or alphabet channel news--not even FOX.

I hope they go out of business and 99% of the people who worked there have to file bankruptcy.

They are a moveon.org mirror site of left wing fanatics.

They will spend their time:

1. hating Limbaugh
2. hating Palin
3. hating all Republicans in general
4. defending the messiah after they try to correct him

I actually erased it from my tv’s tuner after the shameful job they did on the election. Very simple. Very effective.

MSNBC could drastically improve their ratings performance by exposing all of the pork in the stimulus bill, the negative side-effects of increasing healthcare, environmental regulation and big-city political machine corruption. MSNBC could continue rebuilding legitimacy by exposing the corruption of labor unions.

Whose side are you on? Don't give them any hints.

consequently, the powers to be know they have a big credibility problem. They have a virus throughout their organization that cannot be cured. They can't just fire everyone and hire more balance minded journalist. They can't go and change all the minds and styles of all current employees. They don't know how to fix it. And they don't know how to investigate and report news objectively. For so long they have started with a point and placed the facts and figures to support it, they lost the ability to investigate the facts and figures and actually report it for a reader to form an opinion.

Rush had a similar problem when Bush was elected. Clinton’s election was the best thing to happen to Rush. It ultimately gave him 8 years of juicy material. Although Bush gave him material, it was not prudent to use it.

MSNBC does not have the class nor character of Rush. Obama is MUCH worse than Bush and easier to target and lampoon. As time goes on, anyone who doesn’t point out his failures is going to seem less and less believable.

MSNBC may be a dead network walking.

KO requires a chauffeur due to vision (medical) problems, unrelated to his inability to see the truth. Therefore, covering road rallies, NASCAR and Grand Prix would be ideal, especially riding shotgun.
