“Statue of President Ho inaugurated in Mexico”
10:37’ 18/01/2009 (GMT+7)
SNIPPET: “Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Pham Van Que stated that the park with the statue of President Ho Chi Minh demonstrates closer solidarity and friendship between the two countries, particularly the two capital cities.
He hoped that bilateral cooperation will be expanded in economy and culture.
Mexico City s Governor Marcelo Ebrard said that victories of the Vietnamese people in the past not only helped change Vietnam , but also the situation of the mankind. Like Vietnam , Mexico gained victories in struggles against French and US invaders.”
Does anyone know if Mexico is on the brink of civil war? There seems to be a lot going on in the South.
Can’t be any further to the left than the Democratic Party. The only reason the Dems would resist an invasion by communists from Mexico is that they would be worried that the communists would be too conservative.
Red Dawn??

The profound warning to the United States concerning growing power and influence of leftist we missed. The communist have just taken over Mexico. No big deal you knew it was coming. However it will cause a flood of people seeking asylum here in the US! God help us and God help Mexico.

President Eisenhower in 1953-4 made sure the braceros went home, to open up those jobs for American citizens. The braceros had started coming in during WW IIs worker shortage. But guess who Eisenhower found with his foot planted firmly in the door, flouting the president and trying to make sure the Mexicans stayed? Lyndon B. Johnson, thats who. Eisenhower found a way around LBJ and ordered the Mexicans home by signing an Executive Order, using his control of the executive departments and regulatory authority for that purpose.
