Hollywood screenwriters nominated for awards eyeing Palin's story Herald Globe Sunday 8th February, 2009 (ANI)
New York, February 8 : Alaska Governor might have failed in her Vice Presidential bid, some Hollywood scriptwriters are so fascinated by her that they are planning films on her.
It so emerged when screenwriters nominated for awards this year were asked to choose the 2008 even they would most like to turn into a screenplay.

Most likely not necessary, but I would advise Governor Palin to run the other way.
Hollywood writers also know killers are glamorous, cops are corrupt or out of control, and liberal intellectuals are the top of the heap. In short - they have reality backwards - the unusual they portray as normal - and their biases are hateful toward anyone other than their small bunch of narrow minded liberal bigots.
And they wonder why no one wants to go to the movies?

I admit my first reaction was
1. Too early,. we haven;t seen how it ends
2. Kinda suspicious on how they see the story.
But on reflection, there is a story already here
Right now we are at the beginning of act III.
Ultimately the Hero will return to where he started but things will clearly never be the same again.

The closest thing to Mr. Smith [almost] Goes to Washington in recent times. She fought her way into office with nothing going for her but conviction and ability. That she threw the GOP bums-out and performed remarkably well in her administration’s two year shake-down cruise, put her in the rising class of politicians who were expected to revitalize the conservative message of the Republican party and rescue it from the moderate cave-in. Of course she was cabbaged-onto by the moderate McCain campaign, which until then disgusted many conservatives. We witnessed her holstile treatment by the press—no warm get togethers on The View, the lies and inuendo about her floated from Left-field, the hysterical and hypocritical opposition by feminists, and of course the feckless McCain campain...sheesh! Anyhow, I made my campaign contribution to mccain/PALIN and look forward to supporting Palin in the future.
I was wondering how long before 0bama would have his Hollywood cheering section start working on a move aimed at discrediting her. You know they won’t do a fair movie, because one that was fair would only increase support for her, and that is not what they want. They would undoubtedly make her look like some religious fanatic bent on seizing power, while at the same time wiping out wolves, and any other 4 legged creature. Either that, or make her look like some sort of giggling airhead.
God, I didn’t know that the bill contained bailout money for them. We have our very own Chavez for a president.

It could be...but just like they did to Carl Jung(who inspired Joseph Campbell), the libs have co-opted Joseph Campbell to their own ends. The only ‘Hero’s Journey’ Hollywood understands is their own drug induced coma coming to an end at some 5 star rehab center!
I do love Joe Campbell and Carl Jung...but the libs have basterdized everything they ever taught.
