Congress sued to remove prez from White House

'Defendants had to ensure the Constitution is upheld'

A new lawsuit is challenging Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, and this one targets Congress as a defendant for its "failure" to uphold the constitutional demand to make sure Obama qualified before approving the Electoral College vote that actually designated him as the occupant of the Oval Office.

The new case raises many of the same arguments as dozens of other cases that have flooded into courtrooms around the nation since the November election.

It is being brought on behalf of Charles F. Kerchner Jr., Lowell T. Patterson, Darrell James Lenormand and Donald H. Nelson Jr. and names as defendants Barack Hussein Obama II, the U.S., Congress, the Senate, House of Representatives and former Vice President Dick Cheney along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

As WND has reported, dozens of lawsuits have been filed over Obama's eligibility to assume the office of the president. Many have been dismissed while others remain pending.

The cases, in various ways, have alleged Obama does not meet the "natural born citizen" clause of the U.S. Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, which reads, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

Some of the legal challenges have alleged Obama was not born in Hawaii, as he insists, but in Kenya. Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject

Until Obama is removed, his cronies censured and laws enabled to prevent this from happening I fervently hope we can chisel away at his pottery feet and topple the false god image that he is.

Every day.

Every week.

Every month if need to be.

All the way to his last day if need to be.

We WILL say Farewell to THEE.

Whether any of these lawsuits will be successful or not, remains to be seen, but what is certain is that as some of us here on FR predicted, this issue will be a cloud over Bammy’s presidency as long as he is in office, and it will not go away. The steady flow of these lawsuits will not stop.

I’m waiting for some active military folks to file suit claiming OBamBam has not proven he is their legitimate commander-in-chief. This WILL happen, and it will be military personnel near retirement. The court will NOT be able to deny such a suit on the lame “lack of standing” issue.

Although I would like to see Obama removed and doubt his qualifications to lead, I believe this constant politics by litigation is overall damaging to sound government.

A bit academic I’d say.

Obama being in office illegitimately is by definition damaging to “sound” government.

I see it the other way. That for a sound government we must fight to remove him from office, if he is proven not qualified to hold it

There is a YouTube video floating around which purports that VP Cheney ‘turned deaf’ when the votes were counted in the joint session of congress and at least two people wished to object. The article did not mention this - not that it is going anywhere.

A lawsuit against the Congress is unconstitutional. While an individual Representative or Senator may be sued or charged for personal acts, they are immune for their official acts as a member of the Congress.

As a body the Congress is responsible to it’s electors in an election or to itself (as in expelling a member). The Congress as a body is not answerable to the courts. That is a clear violation of the separation of powers.

Indeed a judge who did not throw out this lawsuit with prejudice should be impeached and removed by the Congress.

They'd better be ready. Leavenworth get's hotter than hell in the summertime.

And, if 0bama agreed with you, he would have already produced a legitimate, valid BC proving his status.

Sorry, as much as I might agree that litigation can be damaging, I don’t agree in this matter. This is a substantive Constitutional issue, and deserves a full and complete hearing.

I am most aggravated by the response of the judiciary. They insist on finding reasons to NOT hear the issue. Now, that may be necessary, to get to a case that is potentially unassailable. But, it is wearing thin on many people who see their dancing around the issue as one of avoidance.

I do not get it. If one just rolls over and says “Oh well”, the president is not legit, but what can we do”?

What an unbelievable precedent has been set. We will be rolled right out of a country.

We should never stop the “noise”...as futile as it seems now.

The bottom line is, this outrageous person has seized office on illegal terms, buoyed by systematic support system in media and govt, basically co-conspirators.

We should never lower the volume on crimre as long as we still have freedom to speak.
