This is my husband's unit. They are having a very difficult deployment. I am more worried about his safety than I have ever been.
Please pray for this young man's family. And mine.

You hang in there and trust HIM. May the good Lord within his perfect will bring comfort to this Marine’s loved ones and friends in their time of need, and may HE watch over all our military and civilian men and women braving each day the good fight in these God forsaken countries.

Prayers for you and your family while your husband is defending OUR freedom. Toughest job in the Corps is that of a Marines wife. God bless and be with you.
Prayers for the family and loved ones of this fallen Marine. Lord, ease their burden and lift their hearts with the knowledge that he was with his brothers and they also mourn his loss.
Rest in peace, Marine.

Gosh, that is so hard. Even harder when they're deployed. Thanks for giving us the heads up to pray for him and his family. Lean on your friends if you need anything. I'm sure you already know that. Sometimes it's nice to have that reminder, though. At least for me, it is. :)

Soldier rest, Gently pressed,
To the calm, Mother Earth's
Waiting breast;
Duty done, Like the sun:
Going West.

Thank you all so much. It is comforting to see so much support and love for our troops here.

I just dropped my Marine son at the airport. He’s on his way to Lejeune for SOI. I was told when he enlisted that I would become part of the Marine family, and that I would “learn what that means.” Well, this morning, it means a greater sense of loss for the departed Marine.
God bless and protect our troops.
