More like Bush leaving office will end Jon Stewart’s career. But hey, there’s always Apple commercials and weed related cameos for him....

The end of humor ey, not much to make fun of? If these people werent so far up obamas ass then maybe they could find something! What will we do when comedians cant even make fun of the one? Gitmo’s not getting closed, it will be open for comedians and americans that want to say something negative about him.

God grief, these lame @ass comedians kill me. The man looks like a clown, for God’s sake put a red nose on him and some size 15 orange triple EEE shoes and he could host a children’s entertainment show (too bad he didn’t actually do this instead). I mean really, if a professional “comedian” can claim there is no humor in this clown he isn’t trying

Oh, the unintended consequences. I can hardly wait to see the news rooms returned to the basement as in pre-Vietnam. They can have their 15 minutes of local news. The remaining 45 minutes will be taken by directives from your government read by the Hollywood Elite.

It’s hard to make jokes about a big eared Dumbo who stutters like a fool and everything out of his mouth is a gaffe. Yep, no material there for Mr. 57 States.

Perhaps they should review the stuttering Bimbo here:

I used to love Letterman...25 years ago there was nobody like him...but the older and more liberal got, the more unwatchable he became. Haven’t seen him for years. My hubby, for some reason, TIVO’d him the other night for his interview with Jennifer Aniston. It was PAINFUL to watch. Literally..painful. Unwatchable.

It’s gradually becoming apparent what the late night & prime time comedy shows will do:

1. They’ll continue the destruction of Sarah Palin,
2. They’ll make fun of hapless Democrats that don’t quite meet the Obama-standard for “cool”, and
3. They’ll poke fun at the inept response of Republicans to Obama initiatives.

In short, everybody gets sprayed BUT Obama.

Poking fun at Obama carries the same risks here as mocking Mohammed in an Islamic country.

Jon Stewart will be the anchor on the SeeBS Evening News within 10 years.

Oh, my gracious no, nothing of the sort. But in order to save comedy they might have to stoop to hiring conservative writers. They’re right about one thing though - that would constitute the end of comedy as we know it.

This is total wishful thinking on the Times' part.

If comedians really did tread lightly because of race, we would never have heard, for example, an Oprah joke.

The undercurrent of these articles is SO painfully -- and pitifully -- evident:

"Please please please please don't make jokes about Obama because we've been busting our butts turning him into the Messiah and one good line from one of you comedian people could ruin everything!"

Pelosi is up.

Obama will have her destroyed. Not kidding.

She pulls the agenda to far to the left for him to get anything done. She also the ‘old school’ of politics.

She and Reid are toast. The effort will look downright bipartisan on behalf of the comedians.

Colbert isn’t a conservative. It’s a liberal’s idea of what Bill O’Reily is about.

But they don’t realize that Bill O’Reily isn’t taken to heart by conservatives.

All of those “comedians” missed the obvious point. All jokes will have to be triple checked so the writer/teller doesn’t end up looking like Micheal Richards.

Pelosi is up. Obama will have her destroyed...

I wouldn't be too sure about that. When Pelosi had Steny Hoyer forced upon her as Majority Leader (recall that she wanted Jack Murtha), I thought that Hoyer looked like the cat that swallowed the canary. I also thought that Hoyer would have her job before the end of the Congress. Now, I'm not so sure. Perhaps that was contingent on Hillary winning the WH, and since that didn't happen Pelosi survived?

But I agree with you that Pelosi & Obama are going to lock horns. She clearly sees the agenda as hers & Obama as a rubber stamp.
