You are right about third-party voting, but that is not what I said. I meant, Give them clout in numbers. Then they will have more say in their inevitable powwows with the GOP.

I would never throw my vote away. Voting is a political act, not a soul-cleansing, as I have said several times on this forum.

I don't know whether you are from New York State, but everything is a little different here. We are the only state where people can run on more than one party line at a time, for one thing, because of Wilson-Pakula. Very rarely does the Conservative Party run a different candidate than the GOP, but they do wheel and deal like mad.

Rus ... we have several people with the same ideas. We need to get something started.

See this thread for ideas and interest!

Sure hope we can get enough interest to take our country back!

foreign entanglements is where I stop short of joining

Foreign entanglements... long term troops in Japan, Germany, France, England... etc. and who is paying for these stationed troops? The United States, not the host countries they are supposed to be "defending", Us the American Taxpayer. and in this day and time no one is going to attack these countries, to do so would be suicide... a la Iraq attacking Kuwait.

That is where preemptive strikes come into place.

During my 21 years of service, I have been to most of these countries and do not believe for a second that they are our friends, as they would turn on us in a second should it become politically expedient... and they have!

Over the years my view has completely reversed on "defending" such countries especially after they have knifed us in the back so many times when we needed them.

Hopefully we can put a dent in ‘em in 2010 like we did to Clinton.

And not only do we pay them to knife us in the back we pay for the knife and then help them stick it in!

Give that a read, if you haven’t already done so. Read the pages behind the links, “About Falcon Party” and the “Falcon Party Platform.” It answered all of my questions on pressing issues and was right on the mark with every answer. ...no hidden surprise agendas and no special pecuniary or power interests like the other parties. It will gather good voters from all income levels and walks of life, because it speaks for the interests of most Americans by far.

I don't think the Republican Party can be saved. It is too badly damaged by years of abuse from RINOs.

The answer is to "go John Galt" to whatever extent possible for each individual. Go on a brain strike and remove your talent and your dollars from the service (subservience, really) of others. When the RINOs no longer have the $$ backing and the electoral support needed to stay in power, they will panic as they suffer one humiliating embarrassment after another from the liberals. They will finally understand that they are doomed.

Once they've withered on the vine, the conservatives can come back and establish a viable and PRINCIPLED second party.

One more thing: train your children to be warriors. It is unfortunate that the next generation is going to have to pay the price for the errors of this one, and there will be "casualties" in one form or another. Your children are going to have to be strong to deal with what lies ahead. This is the RINO legacy.

i hate to see the faithful core of republicans berated in the house. it is primarily the senate. it needs to be cleaned out.

If I lived in AZ I'd start with McCain. I wish they would start trying to get rid of him now.

Shouldn’t we try to take back the Republican Party? Besides the CP believes in the same isolationist foreign policy as Ron Paul. Supporting that would be suicide.

So you are saying:

Get us out of all countries where we have our military stationed. (I could probably agree with that one easily), and attack only when it has a direct effect on US security and interests.

I’m not so sure I understand what you mean when you say that “no one would dare attack these countries, (Japan, Germany, etc) because it would be suicide”. Do you mean, because the attacking countries would know that the US would come to the aid of the country they are attacking?
Isn’t that a foreign entanglement? Or do you mean that it would lead to something like a nuclear war?

Just trying to clarify. I agree with you that most of those countries would turn on us in a minute. They complain that we are there, but they whine when we suggest pulling out, as in Germany and Greenland. And I’d prefer to see all of our military stationed on US soil.

Oh, and thank you for your service!

Here's what we could do to galanize conservatives...organize an effort to defeat McCain in 2010. The secret may well be the Arizona Republican Party--
