What a great honor: on Jan. 14, Keith Olbermann named me runner-up to Glenn Beck for "World's Worst of 2008."
Freepers, I'm deeply humbled by this great award, and I want to thank my publicist, my editor, my wife, and all you little people out there (just kidding, you little people).

Congratulations. Now I have to wash my eyes out from having watched it.
What I was trying to say was that Lincoln’s spending went almost exclusively for the war, while Obama’s won’t. But Sean kind of cut me off and went a different direction before I could develop that distinction. That’s not Olbermann’s complaint, though. Olby’s still mad that I called him on press bias seven or so years ago and sent him 10 scholarly, academic studies by leftists that admitted as much.

Pretty silly. In the Lyceum speech, Lincoln said that respect for the law, namely the Constitution and Union, had to be preached from the pulpit, taught in the schools, and held in the utmost devotion. I can’t imagine ANY communist who believes that: Lenin said “promises are like pie crusts, made to be broken.” The same goes for Constitutions, as far as they are concerned.
Congratulations on taking the Silver medal! Next year, perhaps you’ll grab the Gold. I would consider it a source of supreme satisfaction to be despised by the despicable and loathed by the loathsome.
