No criminal would ever think of stealing ammo or getting someone else to buy it. No, that would never happen.

“We have to make it clear we are not talking about gun control, we’re talking about bullets,” said Durham City Council Member Howard Clement III.

Unless you are going to throw the bullets, you are talking gun control.
Here’s a thought: why not concentrate on picking up garbage and providing police and fire protection and keeping your busy body nose out of this?

whats next? having to register to buy cigarettes?

Just as a side note to this discussion, I live in NC and went shopping for ammo recently. My neighborhood Wally World is pretty much wiped out except for some of the more exotic type ammo. I reload also. Last trip to my neighborhood gun store they didn’t have .45 lead semi wadcutter bullets. I wound up with some copper plated though. Also hit a mega sporting goods store in Columbia SC that carries reloading supplies. Same thing. Folks are stocking up and I can’t blame them.

More DhimmiRat, LibTard insanity. And, an excellent example of the kind of Change touted by the Anointed One.

Time to lock and load. This one could get ugly...

“It might pass, in Durham.”

I don’t know about that. There are probably a lot of felons who vote there.

“pistol” ammo? thanks to the idiots that make all the rifle calibre pistols, isn’t *everything* “pistol” ammo now?

Pretty much. That was the intent. Sell it as "We're limiting access to handgun ammo by thugs" when the intent is A defacto banning of ammunition purchases by everyone who hasn't been fingerprinted and had a background check.

There are a few exceptions like shotgun shells 10, 12, 16, 20 gauges. .410 however counts as pistol ammo. I think the fact that .50 BMG isn't regulated gives them indigestion. They've got .50 cal anything in their sights right now. I mean crooks are running into banks with 30+ lbs of a 50 cal every day now. Right?

don't know if NJ allows AOWs, but there are companies that do manufacture and sell 'em.

Tax is waived if you sign up to vote (here x______, we’ll fill in the rest)

These mahoons forget about how this country fought the war for our Independence.

Many different parts of guns were made and stored in separate places, easily assembled.

Black powder, wadding a ball of lead.

Wonder what could be done with carbonated soda and a ‘menthos’?

Here in Alaska we are not totally immune from increasing burglaries, its been posted in the news that its having a dramatic increase and the targeted items are always items that can be sold fast like guns.

If a person has decided to have firearms they should also invest in a proper safe storage area be it a real safe to hidden areas.

The Rev. Melvin Whitley, says it's too easy for criminals to buy ammo

Well, MELVIN, how about keeping your flock busy cheating on elections or playing "Midnight Basketball", and away from Wal-Mart and gun shops buying ammo.

THAT would at least lower the crime rate in YOUR area...

you POS.

If it can be fired in a pistol, it requires a Firearms Purchaser ID and that requires fingerprinting and a background check. I know other folks simply go to PA to buy 22 ammo at Walmart because it's so cheap. It can also be ordered online from companies that don't have a brick and mortar store in NJ and yes, I think the restriction is silly.

“Stop the Bullet” - can easily be fixed with some printed adhesive labels to the correct slogan “Stop the ACORN FRAUD”. Go for it - become a “reform community activist”
