I listened to Fox News coverage of this story yesterday afternoon on Sirius as I was driving around and I was amazed that the commentators were so breathless with how important, how CRITICAL, the job of Commerce Secretary is, especially in this time of “economic crisis”.

My wife and I both laughed at their hyperbolic hyperplexic blue-in-the-face efforts to pump up this non-story. We were waiting for one or more of them to have a brain aneurysm over it.

Who gives a sh1t who the Commerce Secretary is, really?

And who gives a sh1t if there is or isn’t a Commerce Secretary?

I mean. Really.

So where was that hard drive with the W-88 warhead data on it before it showed up behind the copy machine?

"My wife and I both laughed at their hyperbolic hyperplexic blue-in-the-face efforts to pump up this non-story."

It is not a non-story. Only an Obama Rat apologist would think so.

Looking back at the “accidental” death of Ron Brown, I would say that several people think the Secretary of Commerce is an important position.

Great point. I asked another friend: “what does the Commerce Secretary do anyway” He said: “I think they are in charge of corruption”. Thinking back, it was the right answer. Aren’t the Commerce Secretaries always the ones being indicted? Ron Brown, etc. So Richardson was perfect for the job, and was just doing what Obama needs someone to do!
