Democrats left in Blago's hands the very power to appoint a US senator at the root of his most spectacularly corrupt schemes........ Democrats ranted about Blagojevich's moral turpitude....letting him keep a loaded political gun and simply trusted that their admonitions would prevent him from pointing it at anyone. Sure enough, the delightfully shameless governor strode into a press conference, waved the gun around and then blasted away - and Democrats have no one but themselves to blame.

And, this is a surprise to whom? These are leftists we're talking about, ethics, morals, honor, etc. have no place in the conversation.
Why is the Blago spectacle “gross”, other than it is being aimed at Democrats this time instead of at Republicans?
Big deal. All the guy did was name a fairly non-controversial pick for the Senate. The only reason it is controversial is because he made it. At his core, Blago is probably pissed that a zero like Obama got POTUS while he (with better hair) languishes in IL. On a side note, IL has worse roads than a Third World country and tolls every mile.
Politicians must be losing sleep at night wondering what Blago will say under cross examination.
They must be nervous, very very nervous.

You got me? We live on a dirt road in Illnois. They put a little gravel on it once in a while and it just sinks into the dirt. We have gotten stuck in the mud in the middle of the road in a 4 wheel drive truck. The taxes we pay are outrageous for what we receive. Obama better be sending one of his chain gangs our way to repair the road............like that will happen.

Just kidding - his 'clutches' encompass the entire state - THAT'S where the tax money goes. To %$#*ing Chicago, and I'm series. 'WE' have to pay for his broken down public transit system. And next in his sights is OUR Property Taxes for his %#$*ing schools.
