WASHINGTON -- Former President George H.W. Bush said on Sunday he'd like to see his second son, Jeb, become President of the United States some day.
Interviewed on Fox News Sunday, Bush said his second son, a former Governor of Florida, had all the qualifications to serve in the White House.
Jeb Bush, 55, has said he was considering running for a U.S. Senate seat representing Florida in 2010. The current incumbent, Republican Mel Martinez, has announced he is stepping down.
"I'd like to see him run. I'd like to see him be president one day, or senator, whatever, yes I would," said Bush, who served as president from 1989-1993.

Im more inclined to think it will be George P. (Jebs son.) Hes young, handsome and Hispanic and he has been under the Bush familys grooming for a long time: There in lies the problem.

I hear ya but Jeb is probably the most conservative of the 3. He was a good Gov.

Most father’s would like to see their sons as President, so of course he’ll say yes.
However, much as I like Jeb, his name his a handicap that is probably fatal for his ambitions. The country needs new blood (such as Palin or Jindal).

Jeb has only bee a governor and according to CNN and the rest of the lame MSM that wouldn’t give him enough experience to be president (ala Sarah Palin). Now if Jeb had beena “community organizer” they’d be on his team.
To: RED SOUTH
Funny too, Jeb would have been the best of them.

Of course, almost any father would want such things for his sons.
It is not to be, but Jeb will certainly breeze into a Senate seat if he chooses to run in Florida for Mel’s seat.

I’d like to see a real conservative president...something that eliminates the Bush clan.

Jindal, is not natural born. His parents were not citizens when he was born, they were on student visa’s. Maybe??

What is this fetish you Yanks seem to have with sequels?
You know that almost no sequel is as good as the Original (The Godfather I, II, and III being the only exceptions I can think of).
You do it all the time with your movies. And it almost always ends in tears.
Now this fetish applies with your POTUS and other senior politicians, too. Do you REALLY need another Kennedy sequel? Wasn’t three enough already? You only narrowly escaped a Clinton sequel — this time around — but two more are still in the works. GWB was a sequel — a pretty good one — but is there REALLY a need for Bush III?
And there is talk about an Obama sequel, too — and the mungrel hasn’t even been POTUS for one day!!!
This sequel fetish must stop! You’re the only non-monarchist country that does this sequel thing.

No, the US is not a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bush family.
Or the Kennedy family, etc.

The problem with the last 20 years has been 12 years of liberal globalist Bushes sandwiched with a Clinton. Hope Jeb loses anything else he runs for and stays away from republican politics. Bingo! enough's, enough already.
