Sorry for the vanity. I have finally decided to spend January 20th, 2009 at my local Veterans Cemetery saying a prayer for America, and the people that gave their lives to make her great. I hope others will join me at a memorial, or cemetery in your area. God bless our America.

That is the best idea ever. I think this country has failed them. They are the ones who gave everything. So what did the country do for them? They spit on their sacrifice......Marxism, gay rights, abortions, welfare, illiteracy. And now we have cic that reflects the weak and stupid.

I have already cut back on tv news, watch movies, programs, EWTN, or turn off.
I do not plan on watching tv at all on Jan. 20. I do not plan on watching much at all the weeks preceding and after.
My days of being a policy wonk are gone, cannot stand the indoctrination.

Well, I have to work a 12 hr. shift that day at the hospital from 11a to 11p.
The flu season will be upon us with its mean "sister" pneumonia and the very, very busy sick season will keep us workers very, very busy.
I doubt I'll have an opportunity at all to even peak in a patient's room at the TV to catch the festivities.
And when I get home, I know I'll be too tired to watch the many available replays on TV.
Wow, I am really SOL this year. I won't get to see the coronation.
