Actually, they do recognize Him as Messiah. It’s just that their job description for Messiah does not include death on a cross to pay for the world’s sins or being Son of God...

So how do you say Merry Christmas in Iraqi (Arabic)?
'Aid al-Milaad Sa'id
and Happy New year?
Al-Sanah al-Jadid Sa'id

A senior Shiite cleric, Ammar al-Hakim, attended the Mass flanked by bodyguards in a gesture of cooperation with Christians.
Picture from last year's Christmas Mass in Iraq. Shi'ite clerics attended then as well.

This is really something, atheistic, malcontented commies in America, Canada, the UK & beyond continue attempting to ban Christmas, and G-d Himself, and in Islamic terrorist instigated war torn Iraq, good men of decency & courage did the right thing.
Radical Dems and their fellow Marxist travelers should hang their elitist heads in total shame.

Notice anything odd about that picture (other than the Muzzies being there)? No women. Do the Christians also follow the “women are second class citizens” rule also?

Men and women sit on opposite sides of the church (and I assume only the men’s side fit in that photograph). I don’t think Iraqi Christians abide by that rule.

In other pictures (on EWTN) the women sit in the back of the church. Men are toward the front (nearer the alter) as the man’s role is established by Jewish tradition and Islamic tradition.
I’m just happy they all can be in the same building together and Muslim and Christian alike. How happy that must make God — at least I hope it does.
