Dec 17, 2008 — Amazing treatments continue to spring forth from adult stem cells – the stem cells with no ethical qualms attached. With adult stem cells easy to obtain doing so much good, why would anyone want embryonic stem cells (the stem cells with ethical qualms attached), when no usable treatments have yet been found?

Here are some recent success stories with adult stem cells:

Because liberals are like little children pitching a temper tantrum. Even when they know they are wrong and that what they want is not going to do anyone any good, they will pitch a fit for anyway just to get their way. And because you said “no”.

Seriously, compare the mentality of a liberal against a spoiled little brat. In my mind, they are pretty much the same.

There’s no money to be made in adult stem cells. Embryonic stem cells can benefit the abortion industry, cryogenic industry, and take much more scientific means to harvest. Liars liars liars all of them. Follow the money and there is always a liberal agentda at the end of that rainbow.

Some of the benefits they cite:

Nature presented evidence that a single adult stem cell in mice can grow a whole prostate gland.1

Another article this week in Medical News Today reported that esophageal stem cells in mice can grow into transplantable tissue.

Researchers at Penn State said, “The ultimate goal is to identify esophageal stem cells in a patient, grow the patient’s own stem cells, and inject them locally to replace diseased tissue with normal lining.”

Science Daily reported that a single adult stem cell can self-renew and repair tissue in a live mammal.

In a paper in Cell,2 two stem cell specialists reviewed findings that hematopoetic stem cells maintain two populations that reproduce differently. This presents “evidence that cells may transition between the two kinetic states, establishing one subpopulation that is ready to proliferate and another that is a deeply quiescent reserve.” This means that adult stem cells can be available throughout life for repair of tissues – and harvesting by medical researchers – striking “the balance needed for ongoing maintenance and a durable reserve providing long-term reconstitution.”

Pretty impressive stuff. We have this embryonic stem cell evil going on in California and I believe God is cursing our state because of it (and a lot of other junk, too).

You are right about them being spoiled brat children,

but the main reason that embryonic stem cell research must be kept legal is that if it is made illegal,

our society is codifying a value on the human embryo. And this leads to the slippery slope of

“if you chose to have an abortion, you KILLED AN INNOCENT HUMAN BEING”,

and that reminder can never be allowed

I wish these would work to cure my tinitus.

I’d pay for that.

I’d love to hear music really well and also experience total quiet sometime. I’d love to “hear” silence.

“cure my tinitus.”
I’m with you on that! My tinitus is louder than most people speak. Therefore they think I’m deaf! I’m not.

Actually, it's much worse than that. The left, and their culture of death are desperately seeking any reason to continue to justify abortion. They siezed upon embrionic stam cells with such gusto because they see it as a way to finally cloak infanticde  in the mantle of being a "moral" thing.

The fact that nothing useful at all from the field that can't be done as well, or better with adult stem cells will never stop them, because they know they need some kind of perfume to cover up the stench from their worship of death.

Perhaps I'm luckier than you. I don't know if mine is as loud as yours.

What bothers me is the persistence of it.

I hate getting up in the middle of the night and going to the toilet and hearing it reverberate in the bathroom. And hearing it beat in time with my heart or when I'm chewing food.

3AM alone in bed when everything else is quiet.

Most of all, I miss hearing the subtle vibrations in music and sting music.

My friends are tired of hearing me say “What?”

Although I do think that many people now do not SPEAK CLEARLY AND DISTINCTLY. I also think a lot of people mumble and can't speak intelligently in precise simple declarative sentences without rambling incoherently.

Alcohol and loud music makes it worse.

I got mine from rock and roll band drumming, huge guitar amplifiers, gun fire and loud nightclubs. I'm paying for my sins.

Every damn day!

The lefts fascination with embryonic stem cell research reminds me of Dr Harry Laughlin’s fascination with sterilizing the feeble minded and racially impure.

Eugenics is even today trying to put up sprouts and grow.

Time to break out the industrial strength round-up.

“Most of all, I miss hearing the subtle vibrations in music and sting music.”

Uh,....that would be “string” music, not “Sting” music.

While, I used to like the original “Police” albums, lately, I’m not too fond of Sting and his wife and their usual, predictable and cliched “liberal” pseudo political stances etc. Just another self-indulgent celebrity.

Merry Christmas and other holidays everyone.
