You gave them about a decade more than I did.

According to the program, there are millions of misguided gun owners across the nation. Why? Because your guns are supposedly more likely to harm you than to help you in an emergency.
When handguns are outlawed...

National Geographic is coming off my list of GGG sources, and I won't be buying anything further from their line of products.

I read a post on another message board that the Fraternal Order of Police Chiefs overwhelmingly voted for little o. Is this true?

You may be refering to the International Association of Police Chiefs In which I wouldn't doubt it. Police Chiefs are *appointed* by politicians, often 'Rat politicians. The IACP recently endorsed ther rabidly anti arms rights Eric Holder as Obama's Attorney General. County Sherrifs, OTOH, are elected, they tend to be pro arms rights. Of course there are exceptions in both cases. And except in the larger cities the rank and file officers tend to be more pro arms rights than their Chiefs.

There is an alternative association for non Hoplophobic police chiefs and other LEOs, the Law Enforcement Alliance of America.

Also the Fraternal Order of Police Which is more a "traditional" union/"Lodge" type organization, which doesn't seem hard over one way or another.

Oh goody. Only Red States, will have armed citizens. Ain’t no way the Texas Leg would pass something like that. They enjoy playing down in Austin far too much. They enjoy having their necks the length they are even more.

I am all in favor of completely disarming all Democrats, Obama supporters, and government agents. This would have the effect of both reducing gun crime to almost zero, and leaving the sane and individually responsible as the only ones armed.

In light of their attitude, good decision.
