George W Bush — The Last President of the United States of America.
He will be missed.
His personal likability is still above 50% when polled. I suspect his approval ratings will creep back up after he leaves office just like it did with Hoover and Truman.
Yes he will. I think he took the job seriously and cared about the American people. He made some mistakes, but name a President who didn’t. I don’t think we could.

Not by me or any conservative who cares about the viability of the only major political party to pay any kind of lip-service to conservatism.
Bush, Bernanke and Paulson need to just go away so their memory can fade from American voters’ minds.
For those interested, there is going to be a 90 minute special on the History Channel next Wednesday night at 9 p.m. eastern time. Replay at 1 a.m. It’s entitled “The White House: Behind Closed Doors.” The description reads: “President & Mrs. George Bush invite viewers on an in-depth, televised tour of the White House; antiquary twins Leslie & Lee Keno (Antiques Roadshow) join the tour, offering insights.”

Sadly, now you have Obama. “President” won’t be nearly grand enough. Watch out for him to declare himself “King of Scotland”, and append “Dada” to his name.
Barack Hussein Obama Dada will either be a Fuherer or a Buffoon.
If a Fuherer, then the rest of the Free World may one day have to go to war and conquer the United States, after Obama Dada decides to embark on daft grandiose expansionist schemes.
If a Buffoon, then the rest of the Free World may one day have to Liberate the people of the United States and kick out your conquerors, after Obama p*sses off the wrong person one too many times: probably Fox and/or Chavez.
Either way, you’ve got Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama Dada as your benevolant dictator now, at least for the next four years. If you are lucky he will let you vote in 2012, or he may decide it is more convenient and efficient for you to not need to vote: he’ll do it for you.
You are in for interesting times, and I’ll bet you will miss President G W Bush mightily, real soon now.

The bailout was a nasty surprise, to be sure. I wonder if he would have done that midway thru his Presidency?
I don’t think he’d be so cold and callous as to leave behind the bailouts as a Poison Pill for Barack Hussein Obama Dada and his Congress Buddies to have to fix. Still...

Well, whatever one thinks of President Bush, he’s got to be looking forward to going back home and having a somewhat normal life again. He hasn’t always done as I’d have liked him to, but I am thankful that he was the president and not Kerry or Gore.

All George W Bush did was keep the United States of America safe from radical muslim terrorist attack for seven years. He didn’t get around to destroying your country yet.
That distinction falls to Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama Dada (King of Scotland, Liberator of the Peoples, Pharaoh of Egypt, Burden of the White Oppressors, Destroyer of Nations, Concealer of Documents, Stuffer of Ballot-boxes and Ruler of the United Emirate of Amerika)
When it comes to destroying nations, GWB is going to look like a big girl’s blouse compared to BHOD.
