I don't believe any riots would be worse than those we've seen before,in which fools tore up their own neighborhoods.

However, the difference between the previous riots and the future ones is that the citizenry didn't resist. With the future of the country and private properties are torched with loss of life, I don't think it will be the same outcome or short duration.

Previous riots were not widely resisted, only police involvement. Future ones will be for different reasons and will have different outcome, unfortunately.

Actually the SCOTUS does not have to decide if he is a natural born citizen. All they have to do is require him to produce the vault birth record and present it to the proper authorities for vetting.

If the document proves Obama is a citizen then that is that. But if the document proves him to be not eligible then onus is placed squarely in Obama's court. Obama and the Democrats would be responsible for any civil unrest that may occur!

People with delusional mental illness can seem very earnest and credible at first. It’s only when their delusions are challenged, e.g. when they promise “proof” they can’t deliver, that the veil starts to drop and they start ranting.

The first question is whether SCOTUS has the power to compel the NJ Secretary of State to demand proof of Obama’s place of birth. If the answer to that is “no,” the Court does not need to consider any other question.

Well, Roberts, Scalia and Thomas are all part of the Holy Cross mafia (Roberts' wife, Scalia's son and Thomas himself all went to college there), so I'm hopeful they can exert influence on Alito to join them on this.

My understanding is that if a candidate is disqualified, congress chooses. That may not be correct but the Constitution says that they can be disqualified after they become "President-Elect", that means after the Electoral College vote..

(e) a person born in an outlying possession of the United States of parents one of whom is a citizen of the United States who has been physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for a continuous period of one year at any time prior to the birth of such person;

From what I understand of what I've read about the laws pertaining to citizenship status at the time of Obama's birth, his mother could not have conferred "natural born" citizenship status on him, if he were indeed born outside the territorial US.

I've also read that more recent laws about citizenship are not retroactive, therefore, the laws which were in place at the time of Obama's birth are what determine his status.

Obama's mother would have had to have been a citizen of the US for a period of five years after the age of fourteen, for her to have conferred US citizenship on her son, which she was not. She was 18 years of age at his birth.
