I spent a good part of the past year speaking and writing against the election of Barack Obama. During the last week of the campaign, my Salem Radio Network colleagues, Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved, and I spoke on behalf of the McCain-Palin ticket in the Battleground states of Colorado, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
One would expect that I would be devastated at Barack Obamas election -- as devastated as liberals were at the reelection of George W. Bush in 2004. I am not -- yet. Here are some reasons why:

Like many here, I plan to give every bit as much suupport to obama as liberals did to George Bush.
I like Prager, but he’s putting an unrealistically happy spin on all of this...
Prager makes many of the same points my family and I have discussed in the past few days. It did not take long for me to get my head right about this election.
I generally like Dennis’s stuff but I disagree with just about every one of his points here.
From the article:
“The treatment of President George W. Bush by liberals has been despicable, undeserved and unprecedented. We who oppose Barack Obamas policies will, hopefully, act in accordance with conservative values of decency.”
Dennis is right. Conservatives should be the adults in the room.
Well written summary which I agree with nearly 100%
but then ... ask me again on January 21!!

I will be on Prager’s show Thurs. at 2:00.
I will be more respectful to President Obama than most liberals were to President Bush because I am morally superior to the average liberal. I will hold President Obama accountable but I will behave in a decent manner because I am a decent person.
As much as I did not want Obama elected I keep thinking how awful it would have been to have four years of pinko propositions coming from a President McCain.
The body blows inflicted right after the 9/11 kumbaya period finally had an effect in 2006. The first one won't take you out, or the second, but sooner or later it will have an effect. Senators and congressmen will start to break ranks away from an "unpopular" president; votes won't go his way; people will leak.
The minority ABSOLUTELY has to fight a guerrilla war, and part of that is undermining the very appeal/character of the person in the Oval Office. Don't count on me to be part of the "nice patrol."
Prager rocks —am looking forward to hearing you on his show!
...Correct me if I’m wrong, but, don’t Prager, Hewitt, and Medved, at least, espouse uggg, third party, uggggg, libertarians???
This is one of the ways we will differentiate ourselves from liberals.
Will you be stressing this with Dennis when you are on?
