Hamas says it's already talking to Obama (Surprised?)

Israeli concerns that US President-elect Barack Obama will legitimize terrorist organizations dedicated to Israel's destruction by holding direct talks with them appeared to be confirmed on Tuesday when a Hamas leader said Obama had already sent advisors to meet with the group.

In an interview with London-based pan-Arab newspaper Al-Hayat, Hamas spokesman Ahmad Yousef said that Obama's advisors traveled to the Gaza Strip to meet with the group's leadership months ago when he was still campaigning for the presidency.

Said Yousef: "We first made contact on the Internet and then met with some of them here in the Gaza Strip. They advised us not to reveal this information lest it influence the elections or become manipulated by [Republican candidate John] McCain's campaign."

Over the next four years there will be a wave of disclosures relative to O's duplicitous dealings leading up to the election. The American electorate will have only itself to blame for this Marxist!

Israel might be confined to a suburb in Tel Aviv by the time this is finished.

Oh that's just peachy. What exactly was promised to them in exchange for keeping quiet?

If anyone tells me I’ve lost, I will say, “No, I haven’t lost yet.”

Because as unfortunate as it will be, I believe the true nature of Obama’s deceit and dishonesty will come forward in the next few months. And the folks who were duped will be stunned.

I was just thinking the same thing. As Rush says, Ideology trumps everything with these fools. They will get what they deserve. I will cry no tears when the Arabs march into Jerusalem.

Obama is in WAY over his head. Our world became more dangerous when he was elected.

I wouldn’t want to be living in Israel now. I don’t think Barry has any feelings for them as a people or country. The outcome looks very poor. That is a dangerous neighborhood, especially now that Barry is talking to Hamas, Syria etc. I suggest all Jews move to America. At least they can pay taxes to the one. Better then being destroyed.

“Obama got 77% of the Jewish vote.”

And don’t forget Rahm Emanuel is his Chief Of Staff...so that automatically absolves Obama of any duplicity or chicanery.

It’s so easy for American Jews, living here, to support Obama; they don’t live in the middle of a bullseye.

From a poll before the election, McCain was supported over 70% by American Jews in Israel. If you read the comment sections in some papers out of Israel, prior to the election, Obama was regularly mocked, skewered, and feared.

It sometimes makes it hard to remember why exactly I bother giving a crap about the security of Israel, when so many of its own sons and daughters don't.

“Obama was regularly mocked, skewered, and feared.”

I wish more Americans had those sentiments before 4 Nov.

Anyone doubt there have been attempts by Obama’s people to try to cut deals with al-qaeda? I wouldn’t doubt it for a second.

Ha! Ha! the @$$HO1&S who voted for Obama have only themselves to thank. The information was out there, but they voted for him because he was young, black and charismatic, while knowing nothing of substance about him. America is entering into the darkest period in our history and we gave it away. Ironic after all the heroes that died keeping us safe....we just give it away. In the words of Rev. Wright, “America...the chickens have come to roost!”.
