The proposals I’ve heard floating around the Obama camp of requiring community service beginning in middle school — is this a way to hook the kids who might be voting in four years?
I think it is...and I’d advise every parent to oppose these measures at the local level. It will probably be tough, as no doubt these requirements will probably be tied to federal money and to some, that’s irresistible.

Well, Zero has to get inaugurated, then set up his administration to sort things out. After learning the ropes and a tour of victory (receiving homage from the rest of the world), he’ll then have to begin slowly implementing his policy in varying degrees, one restriction after another. For a while he’ll pretend to be a moderate and pass banal bills just to make sure that he has the general public calmed down. Furthermore, he has to get his army trained and equipped, which will take time because his followers are complete morons.
Thinking it’ll take that long is the only way I’m staying sane right now.
I’ve been disowned by my family, living in a group home, and I’m currently in Pontiac, MI and it’s a heavily black area.
I’m building my life and I am rarely wrong in my projections. One year is all we have until the you-know-what starts going down.
The minute I have funds I’m going to stash my stuff in Canada, go to Thailand and open a bank account there and transfer my money assets as soon as possible. Passport is also part of the plan.
Mind you, I’ve had this plan going for a while and I have a business connection (actually two) in Thailand, to the Thai gemstone industry. That’s why Thailand is my goal.
I’ll take my stand there. I think Asia will be the civilized world’s last hope.
