YES and HELL YES! Chavez will probably be invited to the big dance on January 20th. Can you just imagine the scum that will descend on Sodom on the Potomac that week?

I believe you owe Sodom an apology.

The biggest mistake we’ve made in the last 20 years is helping China out of Marxism. Now we’ve got to compete with them face to face for scarce world resources like oil and steel. Let Obama socialize Africa and South America. Maybe he can even do it to Asia. Just don’t let him do it to us.

We have literally built up our mortal enemies in the name of cheap good built by slave labor. This is a national sin on an unprecedented scale that we will have to one day pay for in full. Indeed, the sooner we rebuild the conservative movement and end this moral evil, the smaller the judgment, when it finally comes. And by the looks of things, the birthpangs of this judgment may have already begun.

So in your mind whenever combat soldiers engage the enemy—or otherwise attempt to win the hearts and minds of the people caught in the middle—the main purpose of the mission is not to win, but rather to be demoralized by the other side?

Thank goodness our great men in uniform, nor the vast majority of the conservative movement, think like you!

Those who use Firefox need to add a Digg extension. I use Digg This and can Digg or add an article, via a new tab, with a simple right click.

I keep resisting switching over to Firefox. But it looks like now it’s a must. Thanks for the tip!

My point is that I do not believe Diggit represents any battle we need to wage. It seems to me it is a site loved by and dominated by a few of the mindless and for which ANY thinking people - even moderates - are not there to influence in the first place. I think it is not a battle we need to chose, it is a diversion into a swamp where no real battle is taking place.

“Thank goodness our great men in uniform, nor the vast majority of the conservative movement, think like you!”

I do not think “the vast majority” of ANY segment of the population is interested in “Diggit”. One can just add up the “Diggs” on the top ten topics alone, and see the Internet “hits” (how many people are watching it) is minuscule.

Do you have stock in Diggit???

1. In the “top 24hour” category, the top ten items
a. got all of 15,839 Diggs (hits - nothing, compared to any well-observed web site)
b. and ALL THOSE TOP TEN WERE NOT ANYTHING CONSERVATIVES WANT TO “DIGG”

2. In the “last 7 days” category, the top ten items
a. got all of, a daily total of, on average, 7,200 hits, a day
b. and again, not one topic would ever approach a “conservative” top ten

3. Many of the top ten topics come from lefty places like the Huffington Post.

For ConservAtives, Diggit is not our battlefield space, it’s a diversion; it does not even have enough “hits” from a general population standpoint to be going after.

If you want an item from FreeRep to be seen by more people, after posting it to FreeRep or after seeing it on FreeRep, turn around and send it to everyone in you Email address book. If half of the them do the same, Diggit would be nothing but pond scum compared to the “hits” your Emails would reach.
