Three things the Obamedia will do to depress Republican turnout and help Obama
Hillbuzz ^ | Oct. 31, 2008 | Hillbuzz

This is really intended for Republicans who did not follow the primaries on the Democrats’ side this year (because, well, we guess you took a nice long Atlantis cruise to Mars, in which case, color us jealous).

The same pattern that unfolded during our primaries is happening again, because the media has just one tattered old used playbook (written by David Axelrod, of course), and they have not deviated from it yet. What the media and Obama campaign did, in concert, to Hillary Clinton before every major primary is what they are doing to McCain/Palin now. Here are the top three media/Obama head tricks to watch out for in the last days before the election. . .

Voted for McCain via absentee ballot —don’t let those media turkeys get the best of you —remember, they took “communications” in college because they were too dumb to do coursework that would have made them productive citizens of this country!

Look for the MSM to spread rumors of obama landslide.

Call Fla , again, before the poll close in the panhandle.

Do everything in their power to attempt to suppress voting in the western states.

Dont fall for it!! Especially in Colorado and Nevada.

Great words of caution. Freepers need to apply the checklist when about to post “bad news.” We don’t need Axelrod-enabling posts at FR.

Every election, we trudge to our polling place and vote, even though we live in a "Dem-Overlords" state where our vote amounts only to “interesting statistics”.

This year, we will do it again, *as always* with the simple -hope- that maybe this year will be different.

People who live in states which may actually make a difference have no excuse for not going.

Great stuff.

What we are facing is psychological warfare, and if you know that, it has far less effect.

I have voted. Even though where I live, it’s so blue even the dead vote, that’s how we ended up with Queen Chistine. After the Florida debacle on 2000 and the exit polls of 2004 I can’t imagine how anyone would trust any thing that comes out election day.

Their lies give us strength.

We will not be deterred, and it will be sweet indeed to watch Olberman, Maddow, and Matthews have to eat every last word they've spewed over the past few months.

Crow and humble pie are on the dinner menu come Tuesday!

HillBuzz requested this. Please comply. NO EEEYORES!

If you do just ONE THING today, we ask you a personal favor: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go to as many Republican blogs as you can and WARN THEM that the Obamedia will tell you all weekend that Obama is winning Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Florida, Iowa, Virginia, West Virginia, and other states we do not believe Obama will win (except for Iowa, which we still think goes to Obama, but our best sources claim McCain now leads in internals by 1 point). They are already starting to say truly crazy things like “Obama will win Louisiana and Arkansas!”, and that’s just nuts. That is your equivalent of the Obamedia swearing up and down that the Kennedys and Oprah would win Massachusetts and California for Obama. WE knew that was pure cockamamie nonsense, but Eeyores wet their pants on cue over this. So, the Obamedia’s marching orders are to freak all of you out with SHOCKING DEVELOPMENTS! in Lousiana, Arkansas, Georgia, etc. just to shake your faith and confidence.

Good summary of what has been reported here for the last few weeks. Has anyone been able to identify the names of the various trolls that have frequented our site as of late?

We have had an awful lot of amateurish vanities posted by newbies. Their vanities rarely measure up to an seventh grader writing abilities. (That speaks volumes).

A synopsis:

Head Games Coming Your Way:

(1) Calls for McCain to just give up and quit, because the race is over.

(2) Wild claims of Obama winning states that shock and surprise you.

(3) Repeated insistence that blacks and young people will decide this election, and they are all going to vote in record numbers for Obama.

Agreed. It is well written and makes some very interesting points. I think we have 2004 in our favor as people will remember how we got the reports all day that Kerry was winning the exit polls by 6-8%. Of course, it didn’t turn out that way when the actual votes were counted!
Anyone who was paying attention to the press then will remember that.
I honestly think the press should be silenced completely until the polls close in California. They are trying to influence voters in western states and it is not right.

FWIW, I’ve been a Buckey all my life, and I don’t see Obama taking Ohio.

I live in Cuyahoga county, probably the bluest county in the state. But unless I have a totally tin ear, the word around the watering holes tells me it McCain. I don’t even think it will be that close.

Could be wrong, just sayin’...

This year, voter intimidation will join the standard dem ranks of fraud and theft.

I find Hillbuzz odd. It is created by Steven Wolfe & Associates, apparently a lobbying firm in DC. They gave donations to many pols, but nothing to Hillary? Why?

(2) Wild claims of Obama winning states that shock and surprise you.”

Friend lives in Montana.
I told him “Polls” show that Nobama leads there, 44-40.
He just laughed and laughed. Then he told me how much ammo and gun sales had climbed, just over the Democrats controlling Congress and trying to give them more regulation.
