I'm just not getting all this "early voting." I thought election day was Nov 4? I understand the need for absentee balloting for those who are serving our armed forces overseas or otherwise away from their home on election day but that used to be done by mail and was the exception to the rule. Everybody else had to drag their butts to the polling places on the actual Election Day.
Early voting seems to me to set up a perfect opportunity for vote tampering. What happens to the ballots cast during the 7-10 days leading up to Election Day? How can we be sure they are not being tampered with?

You just answered your own question.

It’s to foil poll watchers.

If you can't make it to the polls on election day, vote absentee. PERIOD.

I personally like early voting. Here, I can vote in the last 2 weeks of October, bring in my ID and a card that was mailed to me, sign the card in front of the poll workers and show my ID. They then scratch off my name on their list and give me a card to vote with in a booth. No lines to wait in. And when I’m done voting, I can review three times to confirm my votes were what I wanted them to be.
Sometimes, life can throw catastrophic events at the worst times. What if I were to end up in the hospital on election day? What if something (God forbid) were to happen to my Sons? One just never knows.
If there’s tampering with early voting in Colorado, there’ll certainly be tampering with mail-in/absentee/election day voting as well.

I agree with you. I have to vote absentee because I am working at the polls, but many people are voting early. My mom and I were just saying that it seems like a perfect way for election fraud.

I'm just not getting all this "early voting." Simple , using the fictional registrations it gives time for the crooked operatives to move around from place to place voting for Obama and other RAT causes. I figure we ought to film the polling places secretly and open up a website where the film can all be downloaded and then checked for the same people appearing in multiple places.
