The 2008 presidential campaign of Barack Obama is a case of truth being stranger than fiction and conspiracy being more than just theory. Hollywood couldn’t write a more intriguing script of crime, corruption, deceit, cover-ups and international intrigue. Obama’s cultish grip on his young ill-educated minions makes Jim Jones and David Koresh look like beginners.
Anatomy of a Coup
A sudden and decisive action in politics, especially one resulting in a drastic change of government illegally, or by force, is a Coup d’Ètat.
It’s important to recognize the difference between a “legal” honest, open Democratic campaign for “change” and a corrupt coup d’Ètat. A campaign offers voters an honest unfettered look at their options and does nothing to trick, con, threaten, intimidate, defraud or force voters into dramatic “change” completely at odds with all conventional precepts.
Obama has not run an open, honest campaign. Far from it! He is running the clock out on his coup d’Ètat.
Because America is a well-armed society, change by force is the least desirable option for those seeking to dismantle the American capitalist markets and replace them with top-down federal socialism and a form of dictatorship or oligarchy. Even the once powerful Soviet Union knew better than to engage in house-to-house combat in America.
So, an American coup d’Ètat was going to look quite different from third world military coups on poor unarmed and untrained societies. Yet the anatomy of a coup remains and the elements needed to succeed are much the same.

Well, what I’ve been saying to people who are undecided but don’t want to talk about politics is this:
OK, I won’t go into specific issues but ask yourself this one question: Why are millions of Democrats turning their back and running away from the party, this of all years? Where have all the party leaders been? Even *they’ve* not been in sight. That alone should be a big clue to you.

My friend MHGinTN has made me think once again....but my memory isn't that long..to conclude that the Democrat Party was ever "great".

When you look at the social programs they brought about I think the term “great” could be subjective.
Prior to JOhnson’s great welfare enslaving society. The democrat party of WW II was a very different kettle of bass, whereas today’s democrat party is a barrel of rotting baitfish. I’m not old enough to remember the democrat party of WW II, but I’m a student of History. [I didn’t stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I did meet President Truman at a private residence in Fairlington, VA when I was not yet two years old; the home of Col. Ed Condin, Harry’s hometown friend.]
Truman and to a lesser extent JFK were a complete exemption to the rule but as a whole it was probably the late 1700’s the last time the Democrat-Republican (Huge difference from today) party could be defined as great.
I can't recall when the modern day democrat party, starting from around the 1830's was ever great.
J.F.K....would put most "conservatives" to shame nowadays. There is NO doubt on that....IMO.
I think many times..we fail to separate rank-and-file Dims....from Dim's in actual POWER. The same goes for the Pubbies.........
I suspect that hasn't changed much in the last 80 years........
and to think we spent 8 years worrying about Hillary being the candidate.

Well, in all fairness, he did it with 1000% support of our currently free media. The hillaryclinton people know all his dirty tricks.

‘tis tiresome to keep hearing these completely over-the-top attributions. There’s plenty to be critical of BHO about (where’s the BC, Barry?), but accusing him of a coup is going way too far. Plainly unwarranted accusations hurt us by confusing our own, waste resources being addressed (to wit: blathered about), and make us look like idiots.
It’s not a coup, even if BHO wins. The Constitutional system will still be in place, and should he be shown ineligible will be removed with a smooth transition to the next guy in line. The Congress writes the laws, the President signs & executes them, and the Judiciary reviews them as appropriate. Four years hence, another Presidential election follows, and he is either re-elected according to law or voted out. No coup.
A coup would involve a distinct & clear deviation from the current system, bypassing the Constitution clearly if not entirely. Violence, or clear threat thereof, would be a key part thereof.
Allegations of Marxism is not a disqualifying factor so long as the Constitution is obeyed.
Allegations of by-birth inelegibility have not been _proven_ (albeit not disproven either) so that is not disqualifying either.
BHO being elected is not a coup.
BHO being sworn in without proof of INeligibility is not a coup.
BHO refusing to leave office after proof of inelgibility is confirmed by the Supreme Court is the beginning of a coup.
BHO refusing to leave office, period, and using threat of force to compel suppression of Constitutional requirements, IS a coup.
Keep a sense of proportion and accuracy, people.
All in due time.
So Adolf Hitler being appointed Chancellor and then becoming Führer wasn’t a coup in your mind? Having “legally” come to power, he used brutality and subversion to carry out a creeping coup to transform the state into his dictatorship. You don’t see this happening in our future?

By forcing federal agencies and private sector industries to act as “affirmative action” outlets for “redistribution of wealth” via legislation from congress and the judicial branch, the systems have been overloaded by a growing “proletariat” movement always in search of access to other peoples earnings.
This was done by Bush, Pelosi and a lot of republicans when they voted for the bail out.
