I don’t expect Obama to carry the Hoosier state, but he’ll run more strongly than Gore or Kerry.

PPP is a DEMOCRAT POLLSTER.

And they’re a lousy one at that:

The demographics are just not there for Obama to pull out a win in Indiana. If it was either Virginia or Colorado, then maybe.

This poll is in direct contradiction to a battleground poll released today that had McCain up by 11 and they had moved Indiana into the safe column for McCain.

But then again the polls have been all over the darn map this election — at this point I don’t think ANY of them can be trusted!

Ain’t gonna happen. I live in the Hoosier state.

Hussein will be running against a very popular GOP Governor Mitch Daniels. Daniels will win re-election very comfortably. He will have coat tails benefitting McCain.

No democrat has won Indiana in the Pres. election since 1964. Won’t happen this election.

Yeah, it’s alot like that poll that showed Obama up by 9% in WVa, granted McPalin have made a few stops in Indiana, but I would seriously doubt it swings to Obamao.

Obama being competitive in Indiana is like saying he has a good chance of winning Utah.

I have been a precinct committeeman for many years here in southern Indiana.. If Obama wins Indiana I will quit politics. Obama will not win Indiana. I don’t care what the polls say.

For all these polls the main thing that should be examined is the internals. Thats where you seperate the sh-t from the stink

I imagine you are right, but our PhD Republican neighbor just put their signs up this afternoon. They had a sign for every Republican running for office in the State and a Republicans for OBama sign and an Obama/Biden sign. I asked them why the OBama signs? Their answer was what I expected, “We just can’t vote for that Palin person.” For the record they voted for Kerry last time.

I think what we are seeing a class war in this country, but not he one we expected. It is between the ultra-rich/intellectual,pseudo-intellectual/very poor welfare groups and the working class/parents w/children with a HS up to BS education $50-150,000 income. I don’t think it about party so much anymore
