THOUGH he's battling GOP accusations that he's an Ivy League elitist, Barack Obama has a lifestyle of the rich and famous, like TV show host Robin Leach, who always signed off, "Champagne wishes and caviar dreams!" While he was at a meeting at the Waldorf-Astoria at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Michelle Obama called room service....

Wow. I knew they were elitists but when people are seeing their own portfolios lose value, home prices are tanking and taxpayers are being handed the tab, here they are eating caviar, lobster and champagne! What was it Marie Antoinette said? Let them eat cake?

Oh yeah! I don't need to go to a fancy restaurant to eat a good gourmet meal. I can prepare it right at home. Its definitely champagne, filet mignon and creme brulee for the Obamas!

“Michelle Obama called room service and ordered lobster hors d’oeuvres, two whole steamed lobsters, Iranian caviar and champagne, a tipster told Page Six. “
Naah. Not elitist at all!
What the heck is Iranian caviar? Is that something special as opposed to American caviar?

Gnoshing on lobster and caviar all the while their goons and thugs in the MSM were destroying Joe the Plumber’s life. Can somebody please do an editorial cartoon?

Marie Callender's Saute and Finish line of gourmet meals can be had for $8.00 - from Wal-mart. One bag feeds two but its a meal all in itself. I just wonder how much Michelle paid for her five course feast at the Waldorf Astoria.

Well, John Edwards said he had Wendy’s for his anniversary with his wife that he cheated on. They got the Wendy’s and the had a nice catered dinner instead. But they are for the working, middle class.

He REALLY keeps her out of sight. I wonder what’s up with that? Cindy McCain is everywhere her husband is. At least he can’t say she was home taking care of the girls-no,no,no, she’s upstairs eating lobster and caviar and drinking champagne
They are acting like Al Sharpton. He staid at the 5 star hotels while campaigning while everyone else used 3 star hotels.

Comrade, they are the vanguard of the proletariat. Their labour is more valuable as it ensures that the workers, peasants, and toiling masses are moving closer to the Workers' paradise. Supreme Comrade Obama and his wife need that fine cuisine to feed their minds so that they may toil on our behalf. Do you not see that it is for the greater good? And the really really said part is that, after she eats all this expensive rich people food — which she didn’t earn — she’ll still feel like she doesn’t fit in, and it will be all whitey’s fault. I’m feeling guilty about that already.

While they are in lockstep on many issues, apparently America's Unhappiest Millionaire hasn't discussed the evils of cholesterol with Julianne Malveaux. Remember Malveux's diet advice for Justice Clarence Thomas:
"The man is on the Court. You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, thats how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person."
How can anyone possibly doubt that these tolerant people want nothing but the best for all Americans? Seems to me that universal healthcare and income redistribution in the hands of people like this would be a good thing. Well, either that or off to the camps...

LOL, I have never even tried caviar...
My most expensive meal of my life was in college... I wrote a bad check at McDonalds for a big mac, Dr. Pepper, and fries cost me about 35 bucks... way back in the 80's...
I just linked a wholesaler for those that wanted to get an idea of how expensive this Iranian caviar was...
I will stick to my Big Macs thanks...
