Two days ago - October 6th - I posted my observations that the Obama-Ayers link was less about breaking bread with an unrepentent terrorist, and more a statement on Obama’s very dangerous socialist views on education and indoctrinating America’s youth with a particular… and very socialist/Marxist… political slant. Truth is, the more Obama talks of the federal funds he wants to inject into pre-school and early years education, the more uncomfortable I get.
In case I had moments of thinking I was just being paranoid… and I’m quite sure that I’m not that well read as a mere blogger amongst trillions… I’ve been rewarded by my own thoughts being echoed in some very major venues.

Yesterday, the Investor’s Business Daily editorial page picked up on the same train of thought, with their article, Obama’s Real Problem with Ayers.
“School reformer” is how Brokaw identified the co-founder of the Weather Underground, the radical organization that, among other activities, bombed government buildings, banks, police departments and military bases in the early 1970s.
Yeah, right: Ayers is a school reformer in the same sense, as City Journal’s Sol Stern put it, as Joe Stalin was an agricultural reformer.
An idea of what Ayers has in mind for America’s schools was provided in his own words not 40 years ago when Obama was eight years old, but less than two years ago in November 2006 at the World Education Forum in Caracas hosted by dictator Hugo Chavez.
You’ll notice that the video interviews mentioned by IBD were those I embedded in the original post. Not the same segment as Hot Air’s Ed Morrisey reported on over a year ago. But there were 12 installments of that interview. And it took serious patience to view them before I settled on Ayer’s comments on the US public school system as the most damning evidence of Ayers current agenda for America.
There are even more videos than just the two that I used… which included Ayers tribute to Rosa Luxemburg, co-founder of the Communist Party of Germany in the late 19th/early 20th century. Ayers told the great humanitarian Chavez: “Teaching invites transformations, it urges revolutions large and small. La educacion es revolucion.” It is that form of socialist revolution that Ayers, and Obama, have worked to bring to America.
Ayers, now a tenured Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago, works to educate teachers in socialist revolutionary ideology, urging that it be passed on to impressionable students.
As Stern points out, “Ayers and his education school comrades are explicit about the need to indoctrinate public school children in the belief that America is a racist, militarist country and that the capitalist system is inherently unfair and oppressive.”
Yup… that’s pretty much Luxemburg in a nutshell. The duty of the teacher is to not only teach, but to be an activist. And, of course, in the world of both Ayers and Luxemburg, they are active anti-capitalism.
But the real stunner was listening to Rush Limbaugh this AM. I swear I had to shake my head, wondering if this guy somehow snuck into my thoughts.
Then see this from Andrew McCarthy at the National Review.
Now either I’m a real political trendsetter with some media bigwigs feeding on the Flopping Aces site for the latest opines … or *some* of the media is finally catching on to the real story of Obama and Ayers. And that story is stripping Obama bare revealing him as an unabashed socialist. To the public, it’s masked by the well-fitted designer suit and Greek columns. But in history? The linkage is clearly an unbroken pattern of socialist beliefs.
Read the links, and ponder the reality of a nuanced Obama, who provides little about his past, and instead relies on soaring ideals of “middle America” in well written and presented speeches.
Then add the latest news surfacing of Obama’s documented ties to the Democrat Socialists of America (one of Ayers/Alinsky spin offs), and the New Party when running for the Illinois Senate.

Think about the six degrees of separation of an Ayers/Obama… living around the corner from each other in New York, with Obama a member of a party that is a Weather Underground offshoot… and somehow magically meeting in Chicago. A time when Ayers and the CAC tapped a supposed “unknown” newbie community organizer for ACORN, Barack Obama, to distribute millions of dollars of funds for an educational experiment headed up by Williams Ayers, the “social injustice” advocate.
Think back to the cut and paste Saul Alinsky phrases in both Obama’s and his wife’s campaign speeches.
Just how coincidental is all this? And just why hasn’t the media noticed that the issue is not that Obama hangs out with an admitted domestic terrorist. It’s that he actively works, and endorses Ayers’ educational philosophy, founded on unbridled socialism.
Then ask… is this what you want for your children or grandchildren?

You forget that Marxism is taught in schools.
That’s why you are required to bring in boxes of supplies at the beginning of the year. Some students can’t even use their own pencils in class without putting in the communal table pencil holder.
Can someone explain to me, if they know, how the heck a bomb thrower like Bill Ayers can be a college professor nowadays? How is someone with a criminal background like that eligible to be a college professor? Don’t they do background checks on potential employees? Does a criminal background not matter in a college? Was he really the best qualified for that professor opening? Was all forgiven because he was against the Vietnam War, a cause near and dear to the hearts of those college board members who hire professors nowadays? I just can’t get over that someone with his background of criminal activity can be a college professor. We taxpayers, or those of Illinois anyway, have to support him now. How much teaching does he actually do? What kind of research are they paying him to do?
When you consider that there are stories out there that some more conservative leaning people have been denied tenure in college teaching jobs, it makes you wonder how a criminal such as him is ok to be teaching our young people.

Yes, of course. Obama wants to brainwash little kids to be good little Communist LGBTs with preschool sex education.
But the story is not getting out to the media. IBD is not typical. It prints conservative editorials regularly, but not many people see them unless they subscribe, or visit FR.
You certainly won’t see this story on the Evening News. Only more pictures of OBama on the campaign trail kissing babies—which is pretty scary when you consider that he would just love to kill them, or maybe molest them as his whiskey-drinking Communist “Pop” apparently did to him as a child.
All the major influences in his life are Marxist. If he becomes President he will do everything in his power to bring Marxism to the United States in a major way. Obama will with absolute certainty be the first Marxist President. What worries me is that he won't be the last. That is a really scary thought.

Harnden claimed in a preceding article that Obama was introduced to Davis in 1970 when he was only nine years old. This would mean that Davis was an influence over Obama for about nine full years, until Obama was 18 and went off to college.
Harnden quotes Dawna Weatherly-Williams, a friend of Davis’s, as saying that Stanley Dunham brought Obama to meet Davis in the autumn of 1970. She “was chatting with him [Davis] that late autumn afternoon as Dunham and Barry [Obama] approached,” Harnden reports.
Harnden also reports that Davis and Dunham smoked marijuana together. Dawna Weatherly-Williams said that “Frank never really did drugs, though he and Stan would smoke pot together,” the paper said. Obama, of course, also admits that he used marijuana and cocaine in his youth.
Citing passages from Obama’s own book, Dreams From My Father, which was published in 1995, Harnden demonstrates how Obama went to “Frank” for advice about racial issues, college, and other matters at critical periods in his life. Clearly, the relationship between them, as concluded by many observers, was strong.

The Web site for the initiative features comedienne Sarah Silverman instructing Jewish youth in Lysistrata tactics: Threaten to withhold future visits unless granny agrees to vote for Barack Obama. Here's another suggestion: Tell them that if they don't vote for Obama, "the goodest person we've ever had as a presidential choice," it can only be because they are racists.
Your title is misleading. All of the sources you cite are conservative media--IBD, National Review and of course Rush. The blogs cited are negligible and do not qualify as media per se. Using the word "media" in your headline implies that you are referring to the MSM, because the rest of the media has already been covering the Obama/Ayers relationship.
I don't mean to get on your case, just disappointed by the actual story.
And Ayer’s wife who headed up the Weathermen and who thought sticking a fork into Sharon Tate’s unborn child was “cool” works at a law firm and teachers in a school of law. Of course she cannot be admitted to the bar because of her felonies. This is the land of opportunity!
not so fast my friend! The media will gave or will give their 3 second blurb but then put it to rest and look at it no further. That way they can say, “been there done that, now move on.”
this election has been handed to Obama. The powers that be and the lame scream media have made it that his road to the Presidency is smooth. All the pot holes were filled and barriers removed prior to his arrival.
The fix is in and the socialis hiding in the uni’s, schools, and government agencies will finally have their man. They thought they had their man in Bill Clinton but they didn’t realize he was a money hungry buffoon who would sell out to the highest bidder. Clinton had no ideaology but Obama does and will not sell out his beloved Socialism.

The war of ideas is fought out on several battlefields, and we have abdicated all of them. The education system, public schools, the university, completely dominated by the Left. The news industry, likewise. The entertainment media, the same.
Your kids are educated by them, informed by them, entertained by them, from cradle to grave. A few stubborn souls can get through this life-long indoctrination with their souls intact, but the tide is running against us. Talk to kids coming out of school about the most basic facts of history and they don’t know them; Orwell’s image of a government re-writing history is not fantasy or fiction it is reality.
When you let your enemy define who you are, and define your beliefs, and define your motives, even to you and yours, you are going to lose the battle and the war.
The Left had a long term strategy and they carried it out and it is working. If we aren’t careful we are going to lose the America God gave us and receive in its place a sad infantile denatured shamble of a country.
The only hope is to reverse the tide, to take back the principle battlefields of the information war. First step is to take back the schools or build your own. Second step is to build your own information media. Third step is to cut off the popular media and replace it with our own. Starve the Left of its power and it will wither over two generations. Do nothing and lose everything.
If Osama bin Laden is starting free preschool madrassahs all over Northern Pakistan today, Americans would still not welcome him into a McCain administration, would they??
