Iglesias was one of the US Attorney’s fired by then-Attorney General Alberto Gonzales for political reasons. He just came out with a book discussing it. In the interview, he talks about these very type of “voter fraud” cases being timed close to an election in order to intimidate legitimate voters from poor and minority neighborhoods from voting. It was because he set up a task force made up of both republican and democrats (after being ordered by the Bush administration to investigate) that he was fired. He specifically talks about ACORN and how the case would have been thrown out of court in the interview. His is nothing more than an orchestrated effort by the Bush administration to intimidate voters from voting. Pure and Simple. Listen to his interview, and weep when you think how corrupt this administration has been."

Yes, I truly believe that 14 states and umpteen different county election boards have LIED about the registrations they are receiving from ACORN.
FWIW, both Presidents Bush fired "all" of them when they took office, too.
To compare the number of United States Attorneys replaced by Presidents Clinton and Bush when they took office, one can use the nominations search tool, searching for the string "United States Attorney" (exact match only), and limiting the search to cases where the legislative action was "Confirmed by Senate." Here is a summary of the raw number of US Attorneys confirmed in the last eight Congresses:
A funny thing is, the MSM noticed when Clinton (AG Reno) fired all the US Attorneys shortly after Clinton took office, but they DIDN'T notice when President Bush (AG Ashcroft) did exactly the same thing!

He claimed that jeb bush purged the rolls in florida of blacks.
He is now claiming the same thing, that it is happening and they are taking votes away from obama. “The cool, cool Senator Obama told kennedy that he was “concerned” about the “integrity” of the vote in the southwest.
Bush didn’t do as you stated! So, be accurate and truthful!

Thanks for the well deserved barf alert. This person might have had a great future; he ran for state AG on the Republican ticket. Instead he turned toward the dark side and went off to pursue his own agenda. Now he cries that his firing made him the victim.
As for voter fraud, the Bernalillo County clerk has 1,400 fraudulent applications, many from ACORN, and the FBI has been called to investigate. And as many as 3,000 more of the 80,000 NM registrations submitted by ACORN are suspected to be bad. In addition to falsifying registrations, I believe that the technique is deliberate to gum up the system and prevent an efficient election so that ACORN and other groups can cry foul and intimidation.
I remember the mediots reporting that Clinton fired all, but that is their method of butt-covering.
They will report some things once or twice, then drop it. "See, we told the truth."
But for instance if W fires a relative few, they will harp and carp and harp and carp about it for years.
