Obama's International Socialist Connections (Feb. 2008 -- where is the MSM?)
Accuracy in Media ^ | Feb. 14, 2008 | Cliff Kinkaid

Posted on 10/10/2008 1:10:09 PM PDT by FocusNexus

Campaign workers for Senator and presidential candidate Barack Obama are under fire for displaying a flag featuring communist hero Che Guevara. But Obama has his own controversial socialist connections. He is, in fact, an associate of a Chicago-based Marxist group with access to millions of labor union dollars and connections to expert political consultants, including a convicted swindler.

Obama's socialist backing goes back at least to 1996, when he received the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for an Illinois state senate seat. Later, the Chicago DSA newsletter reported that Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, one of the "champions" of "Chicago's democratic left" and a long-time socialist activist. Obama's stint as a "community organizer" in Chicago has gotten some attention, but his relationship with the DSA socialists, who groomed and backed him, has been generally ignored.

I think the McCain campaign needs to do two things:

1. Show all the evidence that Obama IS a socialist.

2. Point out that in today's economic crisis and unstable world it will result in total catastrophy to hand over the US to Obama, who not only lacks experience, but has bad judgment and had ties to socialists -- AND he would govern with the notoriously LEFTIST Dem Congress, turning the US into a real socialist country.

Here's a DoughtOne "original animation"* on the Ascent of Human Civilization.

It's a 1.6 megabytes animation, so I didn't want to post it on the forum out of concern for dial-ups or those who don't have a fast connection.

It is meant as a political cartoon of sorts.  Enjoy.

* The artwork was found on the internet and morphed as a component of this presentation.

Here, here.

And don’t forget that Obama campaigned for a known communist in Kenya as a US Senator in 2007 while he was traveling on taxpayers’ dime. Of course, he did not know that Odinga would end up being responsible for violence and the deaths of many innocent people when he lost the election.

And while you’re at it, try to wake up the ‘ol man from his snooze.

McCain is losing this campaign because he refuses to fight Obama and his lies, and dirty tactics such as ACORN voter fraud. He’s just been rolling over (or bending over, I should say) and accepting the abuse heaped upon him- and expecially Sarah Palin.
The anemic attempts by the McCain camp to fight back within the last few days just ain’t gonna get it.

He should have been hitting Obama back hard months ago.
He needs to get out there every day and FIGHT BACK.

Email Republican headquarters/McCain.

FReep ‘EM OUT!

REMIND McCAIN THAT HE HAS AN OBLIGATION AS OUR CANDIDATE TO FIGHT BACK!

To h*ll with bipartisian BS!
To h*ll with PC!
To h*ll with ‘conducting a respectful campaign’as McCain has said, and vowed to do.

RESPECTFUL CAMPAIGNING WENT STRAIGHT OUT THE WINDOW WITH OBAMA’S NASTY, BRUTAL COMMENTS SUCH AS;
‘lipstick on a pig’ and ‘You can wrap AN OLD FISH in a piece of paper called change. It’s still going to stink after eight years.’

Take off the gloves, McCain!

Hit the Marxist/Muslim hard with Ayers, Acorn, Violation of Logan Act, abortion, 2nd admendment, Campaigning for Odinga!!

Get off the d*mned economy issue.
State that Obama/Democrats/ACORN caused this meltdown. State McCain offered a proposal to avert the meltdown, state your solution- and GET OFF IT.
Obama is counting on keeping this going to take the spotlight off his sordid past and dirty dealings!
NOTHING is more important than waking America up to this Marxist/Muslim!! DO IT. EXPOSE HIM!

In the 1990’2, Barack Obama was a member of the Chicago New Party [ http://www.chicagodsa.org/ngarchive/ng42.html#anchor792932 ], which is a socialist party [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Party_(USA) ].

From the mid 1996 to 2005, Barack Obama attended about half a dozen meetings of the Chicago Democratic Socialist of America [ http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=site%3Achicagodsa.org+obama+Town+Meeting&btnG=Search ], the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International [ http://www.dsausa.org/about/index.html ], and draws upon Marxism, religious and ethical socialism to bring about fundamental restructuring of our socio-economic order [ http://www.chicagodsa.org/democraticsocialism.html ].

During meetings of the DSA, Barack Obama has promoted the Marxist concept of a social wage, income redistribution, and the allocation of wages and jobs using labor law reform, public works and contracts [ http://www.chicagodsa.org/ngarchive/ng45.html ].

Barack Obama was the chief sponsor [ http://www.chicagodsa.org/ngarchive/ng96.html#anchor495069 ] of an Illinois bill to set up state-wide universal healthcare [ http://www.chicagodsa.org/ngarchive/ng94.html#anchor349979 ].

In its latest newsletter, the DSA supported Obama’s candidacy, claiming that if Obama explained what his real plans are he would not be elected [ http://www.chicagodsa.org/ngarchive/ng120.html ].

Democrat Socialist of America endorses Obama — from their website:

http://www.dsausa.org/pdf/Statement_on_the_2008_Presidential_Election.pdf

“DSA believes that the possible election of Senator Obama to the presidency in
November represents a potential opening for social and labor movements to generate the critical
political momentum necessary to implement a progressive political agenda.”

“Thus, DSA offers its Economic Justice Agenda and its “four pillars” as a framework for such a
progressive policy agenda. This program calls for:

1. Restoring progressive taxation to the levels before the Reagan administration and
enacting massive cuts in wasteful defense spending;

2. Enacting single-payer universal health insurance and expanding public initiatives in child
care, elder care and pension security;

Passing the Employee Free Choice Act as part of a broader effort to rebuild a powerful
labor movement capable of achieving equity in the labor market; and

4. Implementing a U.S. foreign policy that promotes global institutions that advance labor,
environmental, and human rights and regulate transnational corporations.”

I thought we lived in a democracy. If the people vote for socialist minded Democrats, so be it. The American people are not stupid. They knew that Reagan was a right wing anti-communist and they voted for him because at the time they thought it best. They know that Obama and the congressional Democrats are left-wing democratic socialists and they’re voting for them because they think now is the time to reverse direction. The pendulum swings, guys.

I thought it was Huckster at the RNC 2008....it was Rudy who said it:

I learned as a trial lawyer a long time ago, if you don’t have the facts, you’ve got to change them. So our opponents want to re- frame the debate.

They would have you believe that this election is about change versus more of the same, but that’s really a false choice, because there’s good change and bad change.

(APPLAUSE)

Because change is not a destination, just as hope is not a strategy.

One error in the large list. There’s a period right before “gretawire@fox.com.” If anybody has problems, you can fix that and it should be fine.
