FBI Warns of Potential Terror Attacks

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security today issued an analytical "note" to U.S. law-enforcement officials cautioning that al-Qaida terrorists have in the past expressed interest in attacking public buildings using a dozen suicide bombers each carrying 20 kilograms of explosives.

Authors with the U.S. Office of Intelligence and Analysis added that they have "no credible or specific information that terrorists are planning operations against public buildings in the United States." The FBI and DHS analysts said they were releasing the note because "it is important for local authorities and building owners and operators to be aware of potential attack tactics."

According to the note obtained by NBC News, a "recently discovered audio recording of al-Qa‘ida training sessions conducted several years ago provides instruction to potential suicide terrorists on seizing a publicly accessible building and damaging or destroying it with explosive charges." Just moving in Japanese language, from South Korean daily newspaper.

Norkies launched two missiles into Yellow Sea just the other day (10/2). Intel revealing they have set up launch facilities to fire out 10 or more in some kind of a show of force volley. Korean military ordering civilian vessels to stay the hell out of the area (until at least 15 October).....

Ahmadinejad Envisions Greater Iran-Venezuela Cooperation

Current world economic conditions have paved the way for more cooperation between Iran and Venezuela, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on October 5.

“Today we need to make big decisions to boost mutual and international cooperation,” Ahmadinejad told visiting Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro.

“The waves of anti-imperialism in the world are becoming stronger day by day and we should manage the new conditions in favor of the world’s nations,” he said.

Cooperation between Iran and Venezuela can be a model for anti-imperialist campaigns, he noted.

“In light of the fact that the world’s economic management systems have failed, we need to establish new systems and take measures based on those systems,” Ahmadinejad said.

“In that event, many countries will join the new systems.”

United flight 167 from Boston to Los Angeles was diverted to O’Hare tonight with 35 passengers complaining of flu-like symptoms. They had 12 ambulances on scene and had up to 14 passengers ready to transport, but only ended up taking 5 to area hospitals
