I honestly don't get what's happening with the polling, but this poll doesn't make any rational sense.

Obama and McCain deadlocked 48-48 in the Shenandoah Valley? That's extremely strange.

Survey USA also has a reverse gender gap, with Obama leading among men by a larger margin than among women.

Either the nation has shifted enormously in the last week, or this poll is screwy. Until evidence indicates otherwise, I hold with the latter option.

HAHAH!! Yea riiiight. Obama himself said the other day he was “competitive” in Virginia. That means it’s close but he’s behind.

This poll is BS.. I live in the tidewater area of VA and I see more support for McCain/Palin then I did for Bush in 00 or 04. I was in Virginia Beach 2 days ago and did not see one Obama sign. I saw countless number of McCain/Palin signs. Something is just not right about any of these polls here in VA.

This looks like part of a larger trend.

The Democrat blame on the Republicans for the financial crisis stuck.

My belief is that the crisis was cooked-up by big-money Democrat supporters, like Soros, and driven by their operatives in the government.

They were able to successfully blame the Republicans.

Pelosi’s speech worked.

Unless the Republicans can convince the nation that the Democrats are responsible for the financial crisis, they are toast.

And, given that the Republicans have no major media outlet on their side, the chances of them being able to get their message out, without editorial tampering by the media, is virtually ZERO.

The only hope we have is to appeal to our God in Heaven to stop this Communist and his thug minions.

Without God’s direct intervention, we will get the government we deserve.

I guess I better learn to do that little marching, drill team routine the Obama acolytes do in that video currently circulating.

"Obama inspired me to turn in my wife for making anti-diversity remarks in her sleep. Hunh!"

I think we cannot underestimate the impact of this financial meltdown, pure and simple.

The GOP is being exclusively blamed and they are not getting their story out. The media has installed a lead shield to attempt to blunt any real comprehension by the mostly-oblivious voting public.

McCain is being bloodied.
If he does not break with his tradition and speak specifically, forcefully and repeatedly in directing attention to the true facts, that in fact, the Democrats were the primary culprits in creating and perpetuating the entire debacle, I feel he is done.

“McCain no longer leads in any region of the state.”

I don’t believe that.

Obama supporters have been using Hitler's propaganda techniques.

Trying to silence negative ads about obama in MO.
Trying to silence the NRA adds.
Even his posters resemble socialist leaders.

These types of polls are critical right now for a very specific reason - to influence the undecideds and tip their vote towards Obama. This election will be decided on who gets more of them to vote for their side. So far, we’re losing.

That poll is a big outlier. Obama could be up but he ain’t up ten. What is clear though is that Virginia is a big battleground and the election could come down to that state. We can’t take that traditional red state for granted anymore what with the explosive population growth in more liberal Northern Virginia and with their hispanic population exploding. It WILL be a dogfight and all Virgina posters better get out and vote and get all their (non-lib!) friends to do the same. I have a feeling that that’ll be one of the races that goes deep into the night before it gets called. Every vote will be big. So get to work!
