dang it, I may have to move to Alabama to be represented politically
Dodd is now speaking on the bills behalf....lokks like he will vote yes....(gasp) sarc
I am ashamed of my Senator, Lunatic Lugar. I may move to Alabama too. My answer, TERM LIMITS!!!
Mccain is the bigee.
Coburn - R - Oaklahoma - Yes - speaking now
Wicker (MS) will vote “no” and Cochran (MS) is undecided.
Why am I not surprised to learn that Lugar is voting for this big government BS. The major parties stink.
McCain votes Yes and there is major strategic risk and little to gain.

An average 17.8 approval rating and we’re supposed to trust THESE idiots with a “rescue package”?
Outrageous.
>>McCain votes No and there is little strategic risk and potentially much to gain<<
Except that he made a public statement urging senators to vote YES.
Thune is voting yes. You can probably count Lindsay Graham as a yes vote also.
Come on, we all know Obama is going to vote present
If McCain votes for this (he will) then people are just going to have to look deep into the souls of the two candidates and vote for the man whose core values they prefer
I think McCain would lay down his life for this country. I never expect Obama would.
Conrad - D - North Dakota - Yes - speaking now
Leahy undecided at this point since "bill's language has not yet been finalized".
Sanders will vote against the bailout plan if his amendment fails. His amendment would add a 10% surcharge on individuals who make more than $500,000 and couples who make more than $1,000,000 annually.
