This NEEDS to get out. Obama keeps saying that he will only raise taxes on people making over $250K. What he leaves out is he wants to DOUBLE the corporate tax rate.
McCain/Palin needs to explain that raising corporate taxes raises the cost for EVERYONE. They use examples like food corporations, gas companies, service companies, etc. Ask the question during rallies, "What do you think would happen to the price of goods and services when you double the tax on the companies providing them?"
Bottom line... COMPANIES DON'T PAY TAXES, PEOPLE DO!
indeed, indeed, indeed
Anyone that has not had ECON-101, National election day is on Wednesday not Tuesday. That means all you O supporters vote on Wednesday.
What McCain needs to explain at the next two debates is that Obama is doing wealth redistribution with $500 and $1000 checks to the 47% who have no tax liability. Under McCain EVERYONE incuding the middle class gets a tax cut, but McCain is not redistributing your wealth. Obama is.
Oh Obama oh don’t you cry for me
cos I’m going to Alabama with my banjo on my knee
BTTT
It's out, he said it during the debate. It was out before he said during the debate. It's been out for a long time now. It's going to stay out.
I think they should do that. Maybe pound it in over and over again. But the problem is most people in this country just won’t understand.
So Obama's pledge to raise taxes only on those making that amount will hit you, if you are a small business owner or work for one or do business with one.
How about one of those two minute ads with McCain or Sarah talking directly to America and explaining exactly what The Fraud is going to do and how it will destroy America? Or maybe even a 30 minute infomercial? I’ll donate again to help pay for it.
But every poll shows overwhelming support against the bailout. You would think this would play to McCain, but I guess he's decide to treat this issue and Obama with kid gloves.
So cutting to the root problem, who IS McCain’s campaign manager? Who’s in charge?
Who’s McCain? Who’s Palin? Haven’t heard from folks with those names.
Americans are outraged that our economy is threatened with imminent collapse and we're only being told about it, and asked to spend OUR money to bail it out, at the eleventh hour.
The reason McCain's poll numbers are going down is that the Dim Congress, with the help of the MSM, has been hugely successful in creating the impression that the Bush Administration's fiscal policy and lack of oversight is the entire cause of this. And, McCain = Bush, therefore John McCain himself practically single-handedly caused the economic collapse of the United States of America. Our side hasn't found a way to fight back against the Democrat control of the MSM and their free pass to mold public perception for the past many years. This is just an extension of the same old thing, and I'm afraid it's going to win the election for the Obamessiah.
Seems like their understanding never translates to the way they vote.
Just like emigration. Look who is running for president.
Sounds like a good idea to me. That probably means they won’t do it.
When the economy goes south, people naturally blame the incumbent party. The stock market crisis happened at the right time and right place for Obama. Hussein’s slogan’s of “change” and “McCain being Bush’s 3rd term” started to make sense to people.
As for the bailout plan, sure people don’t like giving tax money to Wall Street CEOs, but they don’t like seeing their stock portolio melt away and the possbility of banks not giving them loans.
