I noted two things with 0 - he had a much less detailed grasp of history and the world around him than McCain did. He also didn't seem to able to stand it when McCain challenged him directly by saying things like "Senator Obama is naive". His ego was directly on display there, and it's not a pretty thing to see.
My favorite comment of the evening, though, was in saying that 0 doesn't know the difference between strategy and tactics. To anyone who does know the difference, it was a b!tch slap to the man who would be the CIC of America's Armed Forces.

My female liberal friend, though, couldn't stop going on about how much Obama not knowing what name was on his bracelet. Drove her NUTS.

To anyone who does know the difference, it was a b!tch slap to the man who would be the CIC of America's Armed Forces. Beyond that. He said it was a tactic to cover failed management, rather than a strategy to win the war. What a POS. Then his constant contention that the political reconciliation in Iraq hadn't happened was absolutely ludicrous. You know how I know? Ask FReeper Allegra how many times she's been rocketed from Sadr City lately!

I did notice "The One" responded by saying he did know the difference but then failed to explain it.

At some point I remember Obama interjecting that he DID know the difference between strategy and tactics, so there. LOL

I also liked the throwaway line when McCain remarked "I don't have a Presidential Seal", a smack at Obamessiah's Seal, patterned after the Presidential Seal.

You are so right. That was a great moment. Completely ignored by the media afterward as they fell all over themselves trying to say "no memorable lines tonight".

Good points. The BO scowl is his new trademark.
