State employee pleads guilty to passport snooping (Obama)
Zdnet News ^ | September 22, 2008 | Richard Koman

Posted on 09/22/2008 8:25:53 PM PDT by red flanker

Former State Dept. employee Lawrence C. Yontz, 48, pled guilty before a U.S. magistrate to illegally accessing hundreds of passport files, including those of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain. He didn’t access Sarah Palin’s passport file, presumably because she obtained a passport for the first time last year.

According to the Justice Dept.:

In pleading guilty, Yontz admitted that between February 2005 and March 2008, he logged onto the PIERS database and viewed the passport applications of approximately 200 celebrities, athletes, actors, politicians and their immediate families, musicians, game show contestants, members of the media corps, prominent business professionals, colleagues, associates, neighbors and individuals identified in the press.

He could be sentenced to a year in prison and $100,000 fine.

Θbama never disclosed his trip to Pakistan in the 1980s until earlier this year, was it because he was groomed as the ultimate undercover Taliban agent?

I’ll believe the other 197 when I see a certified copy of the charge sheet. Otherwise I’ll assume they’re cover for the top three — and that two of the top three are cover for the sanitization of Zerobamalinsky’s travel tracks.

Why would he access the Governor of Alaska's passport file? The abuses happened before March 2008 and involved celebrities like Barack Obama and well-known politicians like John McCain.

Another lame media hit piece. ZDNet is way behind the curve on this.

Ok I did not read the sentence under the picture. I was afraid that equating Ada with O would be a problem. I understand, I guess.

“Why *did* 0bama go to Pakistan?”

and did he use an Indonesian Passport...?

And what happened to this part of the story:

http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/22/passport.files/index.html

From Kate Bolduan
CNN

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a consultant to the Barack Obama campaign, a source said Saturday.

Analysis Corp. President John Brennan, shown here in 2004, advises Barack Obama, a source tells CNN.

John O. Brennan, president and CEO of the Analysis Corp., advises the Illinois Democrat on foreign policy and intelligence issues, the source said.

Brennan briefed the media on behalf of the campaign this month.

The executive is a former senior CIA official and former interim director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

He contributed $2,300 to the Obama campaign in January...

Hey Everybody,
**** Where were you Spring Break 1980***
Let;s set the stage: Your a handsome young Ivy League college student.
You openly admit to a fondness for marijuana and cocaine.
I guess, that you piled in the car and drove to:
Fort Lauderdale, Daytonal Beach, Pensacola Beach or Padre Island.
If you have access to a few bucks or rich college friends, you possibly flew to:
The Bahamas, British Viirgin Islands, or Jamaica

Doesn’t really matter where you went once the girls, boooze and partying began on the warmy sunny beaches- general tourist activities

Hey who went to Pakistan?
.........0000000000000000000000001% of you.
Oh great, what’s do they do for entertainment there?
Cocaine, Heroin, Hashish, beheadings, stonings, and general terrorist activities -
Must have been a blast!

There was a news article about an interview discussing his contemplating entering military service around that time (remember USSR invaded Afghanistan in 1979 during Carter's presidency).

Also Pakistan is a country steeped in radicalism and was created out of Indian territory. Θbama visited because his room mates at Columbia were Pakistanis, but you notice he NEVER mentioned the Pakistan trip until around the time of the passport breach. He was spooked about an October surprise.

Actually - a number of questions come to mind about Obama’s visit to Pakistan...

1. What passport did he travel on to Pakistan? U.S., Indonesian, or ???.
- If not U.S., did Obama have dual citizenship, does he still have dual citizenship?

2. How could a student afford such a trip? Who financed it?

3. What was the stated purpose of trip?

Why wasn’t this trip included in Obama’s resume to establish his “Foreign Affairs” experience....
Something to hide?????
