Yes, the man is intelligent. It’s the sort of vain, smug, holier than thou intelligence that is doled out from a false ivory tower. The kind that insults those whom it addresses.
It’s the type I’ve seen a hundred times in underachievers who take solice in their perceived superior IQ that supposedly sets them above the masses and discounts hardwork and effort.
This useless parlor trick type applied intelligence is trumped, time and again, by hard work and effort. It’s with this shallowest form of intelligence without substance that IQ and happiness appear to have a negative correlation.

Normal people see right through him. Well actually they don’t because they never watch him on TV. He’s a demigod to the DUmmie crowd because he says what they want to hear but otherwise, he’s a noise factor. Now that Tom Brokaw and NBC/GE have boxed his ears, his career is heading down the drain too.
Bozo the Clown was as inane, and nobody tried to stop him. He, like Olberman, will just fade away. His only effect seems to be on the young, and they don’t vote. Their only enjoyment seems to be things radical (speaking from my youth) and mouthing the radical words, lots of yuks but acting is another thing.
