Sibling saddened to think of family milestones his brother has missed.

Cathy Faughnan-Green misses her husband, Christopher, but still counts herself lucky.

Christopher Faughnan died in the World Trade Center on 9/11. Last month, Cathy was remarried to a "great guy." The Faughnan family agrees.

"I guess I miss everything," Cathy said of Christopher. "Him being a dad to my kids."

When it became public that CU ethnic studies Professor Ward Churchill had called the 9/11 victims "Little Eichmanns," Michael wrote an open letter to the professor.

In it he said Christopher was "a compassionate, respectful and generous man."

"Mr. Churchill, my family is not ensconced in an ivory tower. We do not have the luxury that you have of pontificating at arm's length on the causes behind the events of 9/11," he wrote.

"The reality of that day has been cemented in my family's life forever."

Why are people like Churchill, Ayers, etc. even allowed near students? These intellectual terrorists should be kicked out of the country.

These intellectual terrorists should be kicked out of the country

The vary nature of their duty title, and the seriousness and implication of their jobs in the education of the next generation indicates precisely what their fate should be, besides wandering around outside the country they seek to destroy.

One more example that the left, if given a chance, always seem to choose evil over good.

I'm sorry, but this article is disrespectful of Mr. Green, this widow's second husband. Certain things that are true just don't need to be said, and publishing this cannot be helpful to Mrs. Green's marriage.

Knock it off.

In my neighborhood lives a 9/11 widow . . . of a FDNY firefighter. She has two young children, and for me, they are a constant reminder of exactly what was lost on that awful Tuesday in September. She has not remarried, and in her house her husband’s presence still looms large; it was almost as if time had partially stood still for this family, but gone on at the same time, albeit in a distorted fashion. I cannot even imagine the sort of sorrow they must feel on this day every year.
