Prominent Democratic Governor Finds Racism in Palin's Comments on Obama

New York Governor David Paterson says Sarah Palin's criticism of Barack Obama's time as a community organizer is racially charged. Paterson said Tuesday, "There are overtones of potential racial coding in this campaign. I think the Republican Party is too smart to call Barack Obama 'black'... but you can take something about his life... a community organizer. They kept saying it, they kept laughing."

He said such language is "designed to inhibit other people's progress with a subtle reference to their race."

The McCain camp says Palin's criticism of Obama's community organizer days was not racist but was in response to Obama's belittling of her executive experience.

I have rarely had such a swing in opinion on one man from favorable to extremely unfavorable in such a short span. Paterson is one.

Paterson is am unaccomplished piece of garbage who was an understudy to Elliot Spitzer, a super piece of garbage who resigned due to his fetish with call girls.

When you are a black racist like David Patterson everything you hear is filtered through your own predjudice.

And I wouldn’t exactly call him a “prominent” governor since he came to office by default when his whore-monger predecessor resigned. As I recall, he’s stepped out on his wife a time or two, also.

Do any of these idiots realize that the Obama campaign trashed her first. Their first statement after she was chosen was to ridicule her about being a mayor of a town of 9,000. Her community organizer comments were her answer to him.

When all else fails, when you’re backed into a corner, when they’ve caught you dead-to-rights, its time to pull out . . . . . . . THE RACE CARD!!!

b.s.

there’s nothing racial about it.

the vast majority of “community organizers” are white,

some hispanic, but i’ve never seen an asian community organizer.

i went to college with more than my share of communist organizers.

RACE CARD, played again. They must have had a meeting where they decided they can’t refute the evidence that being a partisan hack, ie: ACORN, does not qualify as Presidential qualification, thus it was passed to the “neutralizing committee” where “Play The Race Card” is Options 1-10, and so far they have not added any other options.

Probably. I heard a nasty sounding black woman on the radio this afternoon ranting that "elite" or "elitist" was a racist attack on Obama. Her theory: "Elitist" = "uppity" = a racial epithet applied to blacks in the Old South. She kept saying "you need to call someone in the South and they'll tell you all about it." The host finally said "You need to call someone in Boston, they'll tell you all about what a real elitist is!" and hung up on the be-otch.

Racist?
I thought a “community organizer” was just someone paying their dues to the Chicago political machine.
And aren’t most of those mobsters white?

Affirmative action governor David Paterson said: I'd be in the same place Eliot Spitzer is today, except I'm protected by my race card!
