Anchorage, AK -- Alaska governor Sarah Palin burst on the national political scene just over one week ago when she became John McCain's running mate and her pro-life views excited the majority of Americans who oppose abortions. The pro-life advocates who know her best, in Alaska, confirm she is a friend of life.

It's not an ATROCITY, it's an OBAMINATION. Copying (not linking, it uses my bandwidth) and circulation of the following is encouraged.

And I don't mind if she calls it an atrocity on the campaign trail. Say what you mean, mean what you say.

She has already walked the talk. If the majority of this country thinks that it isn't an atrocity, we're done anyway. Let's get on with it.

This is too amateurish and spiteful to be helpful. Post somewhere else.

Atrocity? Those to whom it is done wouldn't argue with that, if they were around to argue, that is.

Re: “This is too amateurish and spiteful to be helpful. Post somewhere else.”

What about it is not truthful? Did Obama orchestrate the defeat of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act or did he not? Isn’t leaving a baby to die in a soiled linen room (as described by Jill Stanek) equal to smashing its head against a wall or dropping it in a medical waste container?

This is the sort of image that starts wars (e.g. Spanish American War, U.S. entry into World War I) or costs people elections. I say circulate it and let Obama try to explain why it is unfair or inaccurate.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so sick of the same graphics and pics posted on every thread. I mean, what purpose does it serve? All it does is wear down the threads.

...her pro-life views excited the majority of Americans who oppose abortions....

The majority of American's oppose abortion.

The problem we face is that the 'pro-abortion' crowd has over the years 're-labled' the killing of an unborn child as a 'pro-choice' issue and many women who would never have an abortion for themselves have been framed into a box of: "...who am I to tell another woman what to do?"

We finally have the opportunity with Sarah Palin to shift the focus of the argument back to where it always belonged - the sanctity of all human life.

Go! Sarah!

Obama admittedly did not say anything about a Final Solution, but he certainly said something about a woman not having to be “punished” with a baby.

Obama admittedly did not say exactly what I portray him as saying. The underlying material is, however, 100% truthful. His excuse for sabotaging Illinois’ Born Alive Protection Act was that its enactment would undermine Roe v. Wade. He did say the question as to when life began was above his pay grade, and he said that a woman who “made a mistake” should not be “punished” with a baby.

The latter admittedly applies more to Bristol Palin than to Sarah Palin, but I don’t think we need to mince words or make fine distinctions when it comes to describing Obama’s overt contempt for human life.

Sarah Palin is definitely something. Her decision to have her last child instead of aborting it (as the vast majority of Downs syndrome children are) speaks volumes to me. And I am very seriously considering voting for her. She seems to be the real article, and that is a very rare thing indeed when it comes to politics.

That said, those who expect Gov. Palin to act as a sort of Joan of Arc in ending abortion will be disappointed. It just isn’t her primary focus.

We are not going to end abortion through partisan politics.

Re: “We are not going to end abortion through partisan politics.” You have to get past Roe v. Wade if you want to do that.

On the other hand, the issue here is not just “abortion,” it is the killing by neglect of live babies—a practice Obama supports. This should be repulsive even to most pro-choice people. No one is going to stand on that hill with Obama.
