Sarah Palin: A female Clarence Thomas?
The Tuscaloosa News ^ | August 30, 2008 | Tommy Stevenson

SANTA ROSEA, Fla. | If Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to appeal to women, especially bitter supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton, and I was one of those women, I would be deeply offended.

Palin is a militantly pro-life creationists who, with five children at the age of 44 and one born with Down Syndrome only four months ago apparently doesn't even believe in birth control, stands against just about every thing Clinton stands for.

Well, Rush said it wouldn't take long for someone on the left to criticize Palin's decisions regarding her family. He always says not to doubt him.

The significance of this paper is that it is owned by the New York Times.

She’s Reagan in a skirt.

That’s the one comparison the LSM and the Dems will not mention. But it’s the one comparison they fear the most.

Who cares if you’re “deeply offended”? You’re a liberal... an idiot socialist, a worshipper of the zero, an illogical entity incapable of rational thought.

With a 20 year difference in the ages of her kids. Riiiight.

Well, I'm thrilled that she stands against everything that clinton stands for. It's about time we got someone like that in public office.

Problem is, that means NY is STUCK with her as a rep for four more years.

Keep the hate flowing lefties!

Leave more scortched earth behind!

And you will be seen for what you are and the electorate as a whole will shun you and what you represent.

What a vile man is this Stevenson. I'll bet he bullies all his girlfriends to the Tuscaloosa abortion clinic. How insulting to Hillary supporters, as well!

I was going to comment, but the comments "must be approved by the author"--hah. No point there.

Whatever happened to being pro-choice?

She made her choice and they don't like it.

It's none of their business.

Why do people think if you have a large family and want more children you are too stupid to use birth control?

However, if you use abortion as birth control you are smart and not punished with a child. Did these people miss the day they taught that children are a gift. Oh that’s right, they were to busy at their liberal colleges.

Amazing. I would love to have more children, but can’t.

I was talking to a good friend last night about Palin and her sheriff scandal. Her response: It was predicted in end times that things that are right will be portrayed as wrong. Even my husband the liberal was confused why it was a scandal that she did the correct thing on the sheriff scandal.

Palin is perfect, a true role model for myself. I would have voted for McCain anyways, but it warms my heart to have a true conservative on the ticket. Almost up there with having Duncan Hunter on the ticket!

Do they not see how bizarre and disgusting their own views are? Basically, these dirtbags cherish their abortions over their children. Unreal.

Here's some of the things that some lefty blogs are now asking:

1) They claim that Sarah Palin wasn't the mother of the down syndrome baby, and that it was really her daughter's. However, there are a couple of problems with this. First, the chance of a teenager giving birth to a Downs baby is 1250 to 1. The chances of a 40+ year old woman giving birht to a Downs baby is 20 to 1. While most of the pictures of Sarah Palin in the last few months are not profile shots, there's one picture (where she's surrounded by cameras) that makes her sure look pregnant to me. See This. The teenager (Bristol) apparently had mono and so was out of school for several months. 3) In a small Alaskan town, you'd think that someone would have spoken that it wasn't Sarah that gave birth. She gave birth at a hospital. 4) It seems like a very complex plot to hide a teen pregnancy. If a sitting governor could pull this off, she shouldn't be Veep: she should be head of the CIA.

The other thing that lefty blogs are pushing is that Sarah was already pregnant when she got married. She got married on August 29, 1988. Her son (Track) was born April 20, 1989. So 8 months later. However, in 1989, pregnancy tests were not that accurate. So if she were pregnant at her wedding, there would have been a good chance she wouldn't have known. It's also possible, of course, that Track was born a bit premature (5 weeks or so: not unheard of. And Trig was born about 4 to 5 weeks early in 2008).
