Sore loser: Obama and Obamedia accuse McCain of “cheating”

No, really. The Obama camp and its media water-carriers are seriously accusing John McCain of “cheating” in his appearance over the weekend at Rick Warren’s Saddleback church forum because he was in his motorcade when the program started– and then escorted to an empty room without media hook-ups. NBC’s Andrea Mitchell spread the unsubstantiated rumor that somehow McCain heard Obama’s questions while on his drive. The nutroots went, well, nuts. The NYTimes piled on (“Despite Assurances, McCain Wasn’t In a ‘Cone of Silence’“). The McCain camp has protested.

And now we have the spectacle of the Democrat presidential nominee and his press entourage bleating about the “cone of silence” because he didn’t fare as well as his opponent.

Yes, the Obama has just confirmed that it is operating in a cone of abject stupidity. Maybe a little less fun in the sun next time, eh, Barry O?

The event wasn’t even head-to-head. How is the Obama team going to behave should The One wipe out in an official debate this fall? The wah-mbulance will be working overtime.

Oh, and I think we know where the Left is headed again. Remember “Is Bush Wired?”

Predicting a massive run on tin foil from now until November…

***

More:

Warren told CNN Sunday evening, “we flat out asked him” if he heard any of the questions. The McCain campaign “confirmed that McCain did not hear or see any of the broadcast” in the motorcade or after he arrived, Ross said.

When asked if McCain overheard anything, Charlie Black, a McCain adviser who was with him at the time, told CNN: “We were in motorcade until 5:30 p.m. ET; then a holding room in another building with no TV.”

Warren said, “I trust the integrity of both” candidates, and said he “knew they would abide by the rules.” He joked McCain may not have been in the cone of silence, but “he was in the cone of a Secret Service motorcade”.

Scott Ott: Har. How McCain breached the cone.

Look for Obama to try and wriggle out of the debates or at least structure them so he wont have to think for himself.

The whining coming from the Obama camp is so completely uncool.

The good news is that this type of garbage will not carry weight for most of America. The only types that will eat it up are the liberal lapdogs and Obamaphiles who already are in his pocket. Americans hate whiners and they know McCain won this “debate”.

Wait until the whining in November when the Obama campaign loses. Waaaa... I can just hear it now. Worse than Algore in 2000.

How can you cheat when someone is asking for YOUR opinion/beliefs?

McCain should take it as a compliment and run with it. If Barry had any class he would have never publicly accused McCain of cheating.

Scott Ott is spot-on. Hysterical!

Our daughter used to accuse other people of cheating when she was much younger. Children cannot understand why they don't win so automatically they assume that someone cheated.

"Wait until the whining in November when the Obama campaign loses."

But just think of the excellent entertainment value!

Andrea Mitchell has proven once again that she is a left-leaning nitwit in need of medication.

John McCain answers proved the guy has no pretenses.

Is it McCain's fault that Obamassiah opened mouth and inserted foot. It's common knowledge that unless the Obamy is reading it from a teleprompter, he is unable to ad lib. He has no substance much like all the DUmmies when quizzed on the hard stuff.

I’ve been looking forward to the debates for a while now and watching whatever liberal nutjob that the DNC put up against ANY of the RNC hopefuls.

Now that we are down to Obama and McCain I’m not um sure if um um I want to watch the um debates um um um because it’s just um um going to hurt my um ears um um listening to Obama um um talk without a um tele-um um teleprompter.

"Children cannot understand why they don't win so automatically they assume that someone cheated."

Exactly - how about a campaign ad pushing the 'adults in government' angle? Nancy Pelosi, Boxer, Reid, etc... whining children.

What was the “looking ahead....cheating” comment from OBAMA then?

I think Obama had some of the questions in advance. At one point, he is aske by Warren about helping third world orphans and Obama says “Well I kinda cheated and looked into that already”.

Andrea Mitchell proves once again that leftist MSM hacks are far inferior to the National Enquirer — at least the NE troubles itself to do some serious investigation — Andrea Mitchell just spewed Obambi camp talking points into the Mediastream without bothering to do the slightest inquiry as to whether the claim makes any sense.

The MSM only wishes it could be as competent as the National Enquirer.......

This is now the time for Mccain to start pushing his proposed townhall format even more aggressively, with the caveat that it would be impossible to cheat since questions would be posed by individuals and questions not vetted beforehand. Chicken little would not agree to this.

"I’ve been looking forward to the debates for a while now"

I really wanted them to do those 'townhall debates' McCain invited Obambi to - that would've been hilarious.

But if the 'um' factor was bad before, it would likely be unbearable at a townhall style debate (questions from audience members).
