last night was a shock to me...
For the very first time, I found myself truly liking McCain....
Same here eeevil! I thought McCain was wonderful and in fact, sent him a donation this morning based on his performance last night. I think a lot of people were utterly surprised by his performance, and based on the look on David Gergan’s face last night and his commentary, he was stunned at how well McCain did.
Yeah, me too, he hit a bases loaded grand slam last night, can’t wait to see what Rush does with it.
I didn't see it, but I have liked the bites I heard and I would really like to like McCain. I still don't but I guess I'm getting won over to a state of resignation because he is sounding better and the thought of Hillary (still possible IMO) and/or Obambam...
I was not a McCainiac - until last night. That was truly one of the most outstanding interviews I have ever seen a presidential candidate give. If there was a mercy rule in such things, they would've stopped it after the first ten minutes of McCain's talk. He hit homeruns on almost every single question. And what a great contrast with Obama who equivocated on every single question.
Me to. McCain was positively Reaganesque. Love the response on abortion. No hesitation, no pause to consider his best politically correct answer. Spoke shortly and directly to his beliefs. He can still lose me between now and Nov but McCain won me over by his answers at Saddleback Church.
