Well, folks, here it is--the beginning (or maybe the middle) of the end of America as we know it. Tyson Foods is now ending employees' paid day off for Labor Day and, instead, giving 'em the paid day off for the Muslim festival, Eid Al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan. It is the most important holiday in Islam.
It will be interesting to see how Tyson calculates which day it is, since Muslims are never really sure on which day or two it falls until right before--and since Shi'ites and Sunnis frequently feud about when it falls.
Since I keep kosher, I don't eat Tyson Foods products anyway, but I call on you my readers to boycott the company. It's absurd to replace labor day with the holiday of those bent on our destruction. Any company that does that doesn't deserve your business. (It, frankly, doesn't deserve your business even without this, because as I've noted on this site, Tyson Foods employs illegal aliens and trades with Iran, helping sustain the Mahmoud Ahmadinejad regime.)
Tyson Foods . . . the Official Olympic Sponsor of IslamoFascism:
Workers at Tyson Foods' poultry processing plant in Shelbyville [Tennessee] will no longer have a paid day off on Labor Day, but will instead take the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr in the fall.
A recent press release from the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) stated that a new contract at the Shelbyville facility "implements a new holiday to accommodate the ... Muslim workers at the plant."
The RWDSU stated that "the five-year contract creates an additional paid holiday, Iidal Fitil, a Muslim holiday that occurs toward the end of Ramadan."

A Communist holiday or a Moslem one ... choices, choices ...
Is there any way to find out just how many muslims Tyson employs? And how many of other religions/ethnicities? Do they even keep tabs on that sort of thing?
Boycott Tyson foods. Stop the spread of Satan worship in this country.
In one of the many articles about this, the ratio was stated as 700 (mostly Somali) muslims in a workforce of 1200.

This has got to be the 10th article posting of the same information.
do they work in america? good lord that’s a lot. and enough of a reason for me to stop buying their products. although i am not sure i really have been.
Done.
And I’ll let the company know why too.
The floating holiday took the place of Good Friday. Now, nobody's feelings get hurt. If you want Good Friday off, take it. You prefer Kwanzaa ... good for you. If Talk Like a Pirate Day is your cup of tea ... no problem.
Seems to me Tyson management could have solved the problem without caving in like they did.
I bet all the Liberal Free Trade Globalists are happy with this development. I am sure they will have some strange rationalization for it...”How its good for America not to hire Americans...we must diversify....blah blah blah”
Well, let Tyson figure out how they are going to give off for a holiday no one seems to agree on when the holiday actually is. Tyson will pee more money away trying to figure that out
Ah the joys of Liberal Free Trade Globalism....
I have always purchased Tyson chicken products, but no more. If Tyson isn’t careful (and, apparently, they aren’t!) they will soon be the sole American packager of halal chicken!
....I’d think that the Unions nation wide would be raising hell about this...or don’t they care about America anymore either?
I only by chicken from Millers (Amish group). It cost a little more but I am glad to give them my money.
WHAT THE F-CK?
How is labor day a communist holiday? I’ve never understood it as such. Labor Day to me seemed to celebrate the worker. We have the most productive workforce in the world. Shouldn’t that be celebrated?
All this shows is that Tyson is too cheap to pay for two holidays.
I don’t see what the big deal is. The union is supposed to represent the workers. Management negotiates with the union.
A floating holiday could accomodate everyone a little better, but the nature of the work might make that impractical.
Done with Tyson.
Exploding chicken, anyone?
